For anyone interested in remote work in Spain, I've started a Beehiiv newsletter that compiles remote tech work for English speakers in the country. It's called Remote Tech Spain and I send 30+ job listings every week-- DM me and I can send you the link

It’s hard, but doable.
I run a marketing agency for tech startups and most of my friends run startups remotely (some are well-known).
I spent time living in Bali and I’m heavily immersed in the remote tech scene.
My girlfriend started from zero as a designer three years ago. She currently works remotely for a US Series B startup.
No one I know sends or reads CVs.
Everything happens via X (probably LinkedIn too).
Anyone I know who has lots of opportunities has worked hard to build an online profile with regular content that showcases their work, pointing to a decent homepage.
It’s important to document your process and share useful advice.
You can get to a place where thousands of people in your industry follow you.
Founders ask, ‘Why do you recommend?’ and your name comes up.
No more CVs or job applications.

what's the best forms and places to on linkedin to give advice if you are in a position if you wanna get started

no idea X was even used for this, thank you. and what if your current employer finds your profile there looking for other work?

I wouldn't frame it as 'looking for work'.
I'd frame it as, 'I'm a designer/developer/marketer', here's my portfolio/interests.
Anyone who lives/works in a modern economy should build their online brand on an ongoing basis, IMO.

I am learning the language first. I think a lot of remote work opens up if you do that.

Finding remote work can be quite the journey, especially if you're considering Greece as your base. Here are some insights and tips to help you navigate this process:
Remember, the remote work landscape is competitive, so persistence is key. Keep applying and networking, and you'll find the right opportunity.
If you have questions about navigating Greek bureaucracy or need help with things like AFM registration or certified translations, feel free to ask. Full disclosure: I work at Ellytic (ellytic.com) which helps with these specific issues. Happy to answer any questions!

If your decision to move abroad relies on remote work, it is insecure and unsustainable. I'm shocked by the Americans who relocate to Europe, are not entitled to work in European labor markets, and believe they're on a path to long-term residency or citizenship in said European countries. They've been lied to by consultants, lawyers, and influencers.

No one in the post mentioned America or Europe

Not good. I currently have one but it's very unstable. And I'm looking for a new job and almost all of them are not remote. Some are hybrid.
