I saw car , assuming test drive, run into back of truck. Car had the magnetic dealer tags on it. What happens to car after heavy front end damage repaired?

Speaking from my experience in the USA, it depends. Dealerships have different contracts, different rules, and some may have different local laws for how that works.
A lot of them you agree you are liable and your car insurance usually has some sort of coverage for test drives and rentals, but a lot of dealers also don’t have that and would just eat it on their insurance fully. Some even vary the coverage depending on the scenario like a new vs used car or if the sales person rides with you, etc.
Only guarantee is that you’re gonna get blacklisted at the dealer and gonna have to find another place to test drive lol

Nothing... Typically they will fix it on their own dime and sell it, usually won't be on Carfax

You have to have insurance to test drive, driver is on the hook. Car gets shipped to wherever they ship fubar cars or fixed and resold at auction with a rebuilt title.
