Gonna be honest… my wife bought wire racks for the oven sheets and it has completely changed our bacon game. Wire rack or the Blackstone. No in between.
You just need thinner bacon, my friend! Pork belly is a commonly boiled ingredient in hotpot, so try an asian supermarket next time. I buy it in bulk and freeze it for when i need it.
No fibre in sight, I'm guessing the veggies were buried. Most people get a hernia at some point, at least going off all the people I know. It's just a question of when - I know people that had hernias in their 20s (genetics) and their 30s (skill issue) so it really can happen to anyone. One bloke described it as feeling like someone is squeezing one of your nuts constantly, and I like to save that for weekends, not my daily commute.
Well I had one when I was 2, but i’m not sure what it has to do with diet. Please don’t fear monger about health stuff online that you only have anecdotal evidence to support.
Nice! I hate to be a bore but I know quite a few people now who have had kidney stones - I'm terrified of the possibility, but it's like everyone else has forgotten they exist.
High protein diets are pointless, because your body can only use so much protein, and the rest gets pissed out. Your kidneys aren't designed for that much hard work, they can't keep up and then you get kidney stones. My GP says he sees more and more kidney stones, and nowadays it's mainly people who proudly boast they eat a lot of protein.
The upper limit is in how much MUSCLE SYNTHESIS can occur, and synthesis of muscle always dumps "old" proteins in urine. Hence the incorrect earlier research.
As to the kidney stones, I completely believe your doctor, as protein SUPPLEMENTS are extremely hard on the kidneys. Pregnant women should not use them for exactly this reason. But whole food, real proteins are absolutely safe to consume at will.
Fogo de Chao got me hooked on those, and I was so excited when I found out the recipe is actually quite simple. The most unusual thing about it is the tapioca flour which took a little bit of searching to find. Being able to experiment with different types of cheese is great too.

I usually make something the same for pre or after workout honestly, just missing some salad on the side.

trash_bees@reddit
The nuggets look oven-cooked or fried, why didn't you just cook the bacon in a pan next to the nuggets or something????? :(
SousVideDiaper@reddit
Oven cooked bacon is the way to go. So easy and it cooks evenly.

Eat some veggies, you will get a kidney stone and a hernia if this is your lifestyle.
BrownMtnLites@reddit
why a hernia?

New research shows that the concept of "pissing out extra protein" or not being able to absorb protein is absolutely false!
I don't have time to find the actual research right now, but I've read it, and here's a news article about it
