Hello! I am in reading, UK visiting my dad for 2 more days and we are looking for fun things to do in or near reading without spending too much on train or bus tickets.
We already visiting the oracle and hexagon, plus walked around a pretty good amount.
Thank you so much!!

Reading. With a capital R, btw.

I suppose looking at pictures is near reading?

I try not to be a grammar pedant on the internet - so many errors, so little time - but it's a common word when not capitalised and confuses the reader unnecessarily.
Reading Bus Station looks bleak and that's all I know.

By reader, do you mean someone who lives in reading?

Reading doesnt have a bus station.
There was one but wasnt even in use in the middle 90s and was finally demolished for the new Station Hill development.

Thanks for updating my knowledge, which was basedentirely on this home made cover I made for a Fall gig recording at Top Rank in Reading. I don't think I've ever been.
Reading

Library is good for reading, might teach you how to capitalise names.

What's"too much" for a train ticket? 14 quid for a off return to Windsor Β£13 to Oxford far more interesting places than Reading

Try r/reading sub (no it's not for book lovers) - it's the local town sub! π

There's some excellent escape rooms in Reading if you both like puzzles. Escape Hunt has some great rooms. I've done the Vikings one, the Alice in Wonderland one, and there's a BBC licensed Doctor Who room. They're all really clever and good fun. And just over the road is The Botanist bar/restaurant which has great food and cocktails. We've often gone there after an escape room to discuss our success/failure over a drink.
