You're probably not going to get a decent one at that price unless you're lucky enough to encounter a sale going on.
I sometimes look at bikes online, and I happened to stumble across the TST R002 which is on sale at the time I'm typing this comment. I've heard good things about it although I don't own one myself. Might not hurt to take a look, but their sale is ending soon.

Hikeep k6s, I know people dump on this bike but value wise, it’s hard to find anything with that range for that price. I just also picked up their 60v panda which is 60v 40ah for $1400.

Upway.co sells used low mileage ebikes from reputable brands with a one year warranty. I've seen bikes on there for $1000.

Look into the Revr V5. The standard version is about $800, and it's great. I've got one, and have over 300 miles on it so far. No issue.

Where have you searched so far? What type of ebike do you want?
These days there is a multitude of ebikes to choose from. And many are in your price range. But you will have to do decent research to determine which ones are worthy and which ones are garbage.
When doing your research, don't use this site. It's heavily biased toward popular brand names which aren't always the best choice, and are often more expensive without offering any additional value other than a name. And also when doing your research, select reviews from actual purchasers of the ebike and not some professional reviewer who got the ebike free in exchange for a review. Real buyers and users offer the most valuable info.

The best deal at this price right now is the Vanpowers Grand Teton Pro for $899.
It's a fat tire bike which isn't ideal for commuting.

What they said \^\^\^ Or buy something from a reputable brand and get it used. Best to avoid anything too old because of the battery. By reputable I mean a recognizable brand. A brand that’s known for making bikes that you can reliably find in a local shop.
So not drop-ship, direct to consumer, or an Amazon alphabet jumble. You’ll want to find a local shop will service the bike. Try looking through what shops local to you have in stock and searching for used versions of those bikes. You can ask local shops which brands they will or won’t work on to help guide your search. Unless you are confident you can do the upkeep yourself. If so, figure out how one gets parts for that particular brand.

Will do thank you

You want a good bike with fancy new tech on it for under 900? A good bike costs a chunk so corners need to be cut drastically to get an ebike for under 900. You’re gonna buy crap and have a bad time

At least 3 times a day this question gets asked, and nobody buys what I recommend, y'all can do what I did, my own research, I've had problems with a 1k bike and a 4.2k bike

If you just browse this sub this same thing gets asked a dozen times a day everyday and the responses are always the same. 1- spend more money and buy from a local shop so you can get it repaired. 2- buy an import and accept you’re going to have to do work on it yourself when it shits the bed or else outright replace it. If you go with two just make sure the motor and controller are available separately should you need one later.
