I remember getting this as a Christmas gift when I was 10. It was cool that it was almost like a ViewMaster with the white dots you could “zoom” in on for a picture relevant to the region.

I had one of those too, it was either a Christmas or birthday gift. There were 5 photos for each dot you could put the lens over, the slider at the bottom changed which image you were seeing.

I loved this thing, also got it for Christmas one year and want to say I kept it in my room until I left for college.

I had one of these back when my mom didn’t think I was a disappointment to the family.

Oh I am mad that I didn't get on of these. I had the Fisher Price US map that you turn a dial to see facts about the state. I love maps!

I loved mine for many years. I think I got mine at 8.

It was really cool as a mood light. Even as a teenager I kept it plugged in to set a mellow vibe in my bedroom along with my lava lamp.

Mine is in my kid’s room right now

I wish I still had mine. It randomly popped into my head the other day.

I had a USSR globe too. It’s funny looking back now after the advent of the internet that an in-person globe was so helpful.
