To be fair, perhaps you are looking to pay more for the compact. It's a rare sentiment on the forums and subs I'm in, though - of course, a lot of that is hype for the FRT, which apparently is pretty spooty for the compact but works great on the TORO with a mounted optic.

A plus is all rounds stay subsonic. The new full size without the barrel adapter is long enough for some HV rounds to go transonic even supersonic.

I believe the compact has to use a nubbins in order to attach a suppressor. If you're not planning to conceal it it just adds an unnecessary lever of complication and potential alignment issues.
