I dont know if black friday deals will be better or MORE expensive than todays ram, what are your predictions
aragorn18@reddit
Black Friday rarely offers significant deals for core components like RAM or GPUs. Even if they did, it would based upon the prevailing rate in November, which could be higher or lower from today. We have literally no way to know.

Youre right, im gonna buy ram now even if theres a slight risk that ram will go down, thank you!

Isn't it better to wait for cyber monday instead for pc part discounts?
Kili_RUI@reddit (OP)
Its cause theres a technician i know that is going to bring me to a local store where he can get a 10% discount for being a tech, so im looking for an even bigger discount but is cyber monday also on physical stores or just online stores?
Zeamax@reddit
It depends on the coutnry where you live. Here it's mostly online but in your local area could be different story.

I should check for older cyber monday deals from the past year in my country then, thanks for telling me it!

Has any company anywhere even talked about increasing production capacity for consumer memory? I haven't seen it if they have and that is what it will take for prices to do anything but keep going up.
Naerven@reddit
Most manufacturers told their shareholders that they would not increase production, but rather just increase prices to maximize profit and dividends. That said there is another fab coming online, but it takes years for this to happen.

Aa yes, why serve the people, serve the investors. I will give my money to China if they start selling shit for half price in europe

Black Friday will have the typical non-sales of things people want. Usually prices increase the month before so they can be lowered to the original price and thus give the illusion of a good deal.

Damn i did not know that marketing strategy, thanks for keeping me alert on it!
AdAmbitious1065@reddit
lmao black friday dosen't mean anything anymore, esp when it comes to stuff like this.
pretty much most professional opinion agrees with just buying it now, prices won't drastically change, just look at GPU prices...
Kili_RUI@reddit (OP)
True, im gonna try and buy ram this may, thank you!!
Protoclown98@reddit
Do you need ram? If you have 32gb currently id just wait it out and stay on AM4. If you dont have ram timing the market is just silly.
It most likely won't crash, but be a slow and steady decline to reality, imo.
Kili_RUI@reddit (OP)
Yeah your comment makes sense, the bubble wont pop like a nuclear bomb but yeah as you said slow and steady, ill buy ram now, thank you

Unless someone has a crystal ball everyone responding here will have no idea.

nobody can predict what prices of stuff will be in 7 months
