Basic blowback 9mm. The question is does it support a super safety.
HyattWithDracos@reddit
if it had a super safety i'd have 2 in my cart
7ddlysuns@reddit
The only real question for me. I like Panzer shotguns
Diligent-Parfait-236@reddit
Someone would need to make an autotrip adapter.
PewPewDesertRat@reddit
Feels like it would be a competitive advantage to just cut the bolt with the right geometry.
Diligent-Parfait-236@reddit
Not having a buffer tube sells better.
Prestigious-Quit-951@reddit
fuck bob furguson
SmoothSlavperator@reddit
If its blowback, its just an overpriced HiPoint
Mahlegos@reddit
I’m as much of a roller snob as the next guy, but as long as these things run I’d take it or an extar over a hi-point carbine for the better mags and AR ergos alone.
SmoothSlavperator@reddit
I mean there's that but at $469 you're into budget AR build territory and that's all completely standard more or less as opposed to something that may or may not be in the US market in the future.
Mahlegos@reddit
If this runs reliably, then it’s a plug and play option vs building out an AR9 and potentially/likely having to deal with tuning it. Long term parts availability is a consideration, but how big of one depends on how much of this things internals are proprietary in the first place. To each their own though. Like I said I’m a roller guy and not in the market for anything like this, I was just saying it I was Id personally be willing to spend comparatively more for something to not have the limitations of the hi point.
awid31@reddit
Hm. Is an mpx really 4x better than this?
yabadabado0@reddit
Yes. But so is the Kuna at $1k
joman8390@reddit
If these took scorpion mags I’d consider it
Former_Power6209@reddit
People are quick to downvote these things but are all over Matadors and Jakl 9s which are effectively the same things but twice the price. I don't get it.
pandamonia23@reddit
If you're talking about the Matador Mat9, that is a roller-delayed gun and made in the U.S. Clearly not in the same class as the Panzer ARP9
Ernie_McCracken88@reddit
I've seen the matador 9 seems to get dumped on, and I don't see it mentioned alongside the Kuna or stribog or mp5 clones. does it have a reputation for lower quality or something?
pandamonia23@reddit
Earlier versions did have some issues such as Bolt Catch Damage, OOB discharges, ejector issues, and LRBHO issues. The new 25/26 versions addressed these issues by switching to roller-delayed system, metal reinforced internals (instead of platic 3d printed), and the EZ take down system. This produced a much more reliable firearm compared to the earlier version. I would assume that people don't really know about these updates and only go by what was first reported in the earlier versions
Former_Power6209@reddit
Is it rollar delayed now? They were blowback for the longest time. Also, we don't know where this Panzer is made do we? Theyre just a distributor, their AR57 upper is made in the US.
pandamonia23@reddit
They are roller delayed now. The MAT-9 is more comparable to the Stribog SP9A3 and SP9A3S for the MAT-K. The ARP9 is made in Turkey
chuckisduck@reddit
I wanted a mat-9 to be roller delayed. Ordering it now lol.
pandamonia23@reddit
awesome. Just be aware the wait times on those are a few months
chuckisduck@reddit
I think that is ok, I made a video on YouTube to modify an EPC to take the RDB system... It's just been the RDB system has been plagued with issues of early failing parts.
Gonna ask in ar9
Alexthelightnerd@reddit
The Stribog A3 is also roller delayed.
FlyingBasset@reddit
That is why he said they are comparable
Alexthelightnerd@reddit
Derp, misread MAT-9 for ARP9.
crabcakemeister@reddit
Yeah they're sick now, it's crazy how fast it evolved
Do you have any hands-on experience with the ar57 upper? I was interested in it
99_To_Life@reddit
Do you have some feedback on this? Should I get it?
SpaceCampDropOut@reddit
I love reading comments on guns that really no one has used before to see how chaotic it gets as everyone thinks they’re an expert.
Keep em coming
Whereyoursisterwent@reddit
Can these be braced?
This or a kuna with brace for triple the price?
pandamonia23@reddit
*in before the mp5 clone comments come in* just get an ap5
obamasfursona@reddit
They have picatinny buttplates so any 1913 brace should work
FlyingBasset@reddit
Anyone compare this with an EP9 (of which I already have a 1st Gen)?
pandamonia23@reddit
This would be in the same class as the EP9 of course without the polymer difference. Only time will tell if it's as reliable as the EP9
Automatic_Market7422@reddit
The only time I would buy a basic blowback 9mm is if it had an AR style buffer system in it. My aero precious AR 9 was shit until I put a tungsten heavyweight buffer in it. Now it shoots like a dream.
Can't do that with this
