Not just his corruption, I even seen many videos of him dancing with far right leaders like Ben gvir in occupied Palestine trending on Argentinian social media.
IOnlyFearOFGod@reddit
He has been with that crowd for some time now. Consisting of insane and cruel men.
ZackRaynor@reddit
What a surprise he’s getting support from Trump huh?
bxzidff@reddit
Maybe Ben-Gvir gifted him a picture of Goldstein
Loose_Spray1678@reddit
He's been doing that forever though
RoostasTowel@reddit
Headline says it plummets.
Looking at the graph they provide it has gone down at most 3%, but it still pretty much the same as it has been for the last 2 years.

waiver@reddit
According to the monthly tracker it went from 49%/48% approval/dissapproval 2 years ago to 37%/61% now, so i don't see why you argue it hasn't changed.
RoostasTowel@reddit
The 2nd chart starts at 36.7% and ends at 38.2%
If we are cherry picking stats I will claim that his popularity is skyrocketing, its up 6.1% in just one month based on the Analogías polling.
awildstoryteller@reddit
You are reading the monthly changes.
disagree_with_losers@reddit
you are missing the point. Some guy said his popularity "plummeted" after a scandal. Another guy pointed it out that the scandal didn't really do much against Milei's popularity.
awildstoryteller@reddit
Technically, the article says "amid".
If we are looking at the charts, since February his disapproval rating has risen more than 10%.
That is a pretty big change.
zue4@reddit
Argentinians are dumb as hell if they still support this dude.
disagree_with_losers@reddit
Lefty thinks he knows what's best for everyone.... never gets old 🙄
ChefCurryYumYum@reddit
I'm sure you are much more informed on the situation in their country than they are.
OsgrobioPrubeta@reddit
As an user from the country that elected Trump for the second time for president, write us that again without laughing.
Massive-Lime7193@reddit
The ven diagram of the types of people that support that clown in Argentina and the people that support trump is a circle. Also is there any evidence that the person you responding to supports trump?? More than likely they oppose Trump and therefore have a lot of experience dealing with the EXACT types of idiots they are describing in Argentina.
Fortunafors@reddit
The point is not that they support the bad presidents, but those presidents still won, I don't think any national from any country can say anything about other leaders, Most countries are fighting right now to choose competent people, democracy is kinda wild and sometimes people think things gonna work even when it's obvious it's not gonna work, desperate countries make desperate choices too.
big_cock_lach@reddit
If the Venn diagram is a circle and they oppose Trump, why are they defending Milei?
ChefCurryYumYum@reddit
What does one have to do with the other?
It's funny how on these topics where people have strong emotions tied to very little understanding of the topic that you get a lot of these fallacy type arguments in the comments.
loggy_sci@reddit
Why don’t you Chega your own politics before trying to talk about ours
OsgrobioPrubeta@reddit
? Our Trump wannabe peaked tying with second party at parliamentary elections, after got humiliated and gave the biggest win, ever, to a Socialist candidate at Presidential elections.
But still, your reply doesn't counter the false argument that you tried to present.
Massive-Lime7193@reddit
No situation they could possibly be in would justify supporting an anarcho-capitalist. The dudes a psycho and is going to lead the country to ruin. There is not a single good thing he advocates for, so yes if you support him you're an idiot.
ChefCurryYumYum@reddit
The country was already in financial ruin.
zue4@reddit
An American supporting a fascist lunatic, very on brand for you.
ChefCurryYumYum@reddit
And the expert speaks again!
RoostasTowel@reddit
Thanks private 2 month old account with no country flair...
chipacitoconpasas@reddit
we Argentinians are dumb as hell for electing this dude
Fortunafors@reddit
Lmao
zue4@reddit
How lukewarm are your opinions if you don't need to make new accounts every few months?
Can't believe people still think a new account means anything these days lmao. My OG account was made in 2011 but its been in the grave since 2017 cause reddit mods are bigger pussies than you.
Loose_Spray1678@reddit
reddit was always bad, but it has gotten so much worse now that they use bots that can't detect obvious satire to ban people.
Zipz@reddit
Why do you say that?
dvdwbb@reddit
He let Israelis come burn down their national forest and steal the land for themselves for starters
Zipz@reddit
Brother are you really out here spread bs conspiracy theories ?
Jesus Christ
chipacitoconpasas@reddit
Yep, you are right
NeoLephty@reddit
“Atlas Intel asks each month: "Do you approve of disapprove of the performance of President Javier Milei?"”
If you look at the graph below this statement you can see Jan disapproval rating at 55% and March disapproval rating at 61% which is a bigger swing than 3% (though I think you meant to say 300 basis points).
The approval rating shows an equally large inverse movement. From 42% approval in Jan to 37% in March.
56% disapproval (40% approval) were the former high/low. This is only 300 basis points below peak approval but still 500 basis points above peak disapproval - which is considerable especially given the “don’t know” numbers are so low - so you’re pulling from those that approve of your work to increase the disapproval numbers. Only 2% of people don’t know if they approve or disapprove. Very polarized results.
ThatAmazingHorse@reddit
Inflammatory headlines sell, especially when they tell readers what they want to hear.
In Argentina, there’s been more talk lately about the ICG index, which has historically tracked election results very closely. In context, it does show a decline, though not the first or the worst, but it is still stronger than the numbers seen by other administrations at the same point in their terms, especially those that failed to win reelection.
Here is the source for this study (PDF). Unfortunately, as far as I know, it is only available in Spanish.
ClinicalDigression@reddit
Very unfun fact about this guy: there's a small group of weebs who adore him because he allegedly fucks his sister and I genuinely can't tell whether they're joking.
TheSoupThief@reddit
I get it now! This is why Trump was talking about supporting Argentina to claim the Falkland Isles last week. Thought it was all just to be mean to Starmer, but he was throwing Milei a bone to deflect from this
ChefCurryYumYum@reddit
The west hates this guy for trying to fix his country's fucked economy.
JLZ13@reddit
Overstated and with barely any impact since election were a few months ago.
Not gonna lie. I've seen more "Milei is unpopular" in the news than in the streets.
Ofc, it may be my bias perception.
