So my budget is around the £1000 mark which is roughly $1,300. I’ve gone with a 9060 XT 16GB. Specifically Gigabytes Gaming OC model. My CPU is the Ryzen 5 5600XT. This takes up roughly £550 of the budget. Other parts include: Gigabyte B550M K, KLEVV CRAS C715. (1TB) Corsair vengeance LPX ddr4. Which is surprisingly priced quite low for the 32GB which I went for. The other stuff is irrelevant. I’ve made sure the GPU will fit perfectly fine in the case I went with.
Im just trying to get the most Price-performance I can using brand new parts. However I do need that 32GB otherwise I would’ve gone with 16 and maybe gotten a better cpu. Im building on am4 because future proofing isn’t an issue for me yet and building on am4 is a good way to avoid the RAM prices. Im just trying to get the same performance as my Xbox series S so that I can play some games I wouldn’t normally be able to play, mod games, play PC VR and just play some of my favourite games on a keyboard and mouse. Plus I need a computer for Uni.
