Was this a thing where u grew up? Do u remember what any sound like? I remember the Dukes of Hazard theme being a big one. I never hear them anymore

I was just looking these up yesterday. The horn in my golf cart stopped working and I’m seriously considering getting one. What song should I get? I have no need for a horn in my cart but it’s the stupid things I enjoy.

If you want to go with the classics, but are uncomfortable with "Dixie", you could always go with La Cucaracha.

My grandfather hated the beep beep horn in his newly acquired Toyota pickup (shortly after they began selling here), and installed an air horn. That thing was loud! Got people’s attention when they cut you off.

I’m from the US south. Dixie horns were everywhere back then

In Auto Tech, a popular prank was running a jumper from the left or right turn signal socket, to the horn.

In high school I drove a 1970 VW bug I bought off my grandpa for $500 after grandma passed and therefore wasn't driving anymore.
The horn circuit rusted out and turned permanently on, so my dad and I ripped it out and replaced it with an airhorn.
A Bug that sounded like a railroad crossing was entertaining.

Not to mention being mounted on the hood!
