So I purchased a Gigabyte B650 X AV V2 motherboard off of FB marketplace for a good deal and bought a decent mid tower from Amazon. My plan is to go ryzen 7 9800x3d with a RX9700xt. Other than Facebook and Amazon, what is everyone's go to store or website for reliable used or new components. Im targeting a 1440p capable with room overhead. Also what CPU coolers does everyone like, and is a 850w psu enough? I'm wanting to be future proof. I might be shooting to high though. I'm new here lol.

Hi there! that’s a beast of a build! For those components, an 850W PSU is definitely enough, as long as you stick to high-quality brands like Corsair, Cooler Master, or Gigabyte (ideally 80+ Gold certified)
Regarding cooling, the 9800X3D is efficient but can have thermal spikes. (Alternatively, if the 9800X3D is too expensive, you might want to consider the 7800X3D since it offers similar performance at a lower price). Here are some solid cooling options for both
Air Cooling: If you want reliability and great value, the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE is the king right now. If you want the best premium air cooler, the Noctua NH-D15 G2 is the way to go
Liquid Cooling (AIO): For better aesthetics and slightly lower temps under sustained load, the Arctic Liquid Freezer III (280mm or 360mm) offers the best performance-to-price ratio. If you want a more premium look, the Corsair iCUE Link H150i (or H100i) is excellent

As for CPU cooler, you don't need anything more than a 30-40 dollar Thermalright Phantom Spirit or Peerless Assassin.
