What's it like being a refueller? Fun, mundane, easy, difficult?
_Ivan88@reddit (OP)
It’s pretty easy, it gets boring on wide bodies though 😔

Can you browse Reddit or do you have to watch the fuel go?

Thanks, appreciate the reply! As someone I'm aviation but currently chained to a desk, have to say I envy you working around aircraft day to day. As boring as it may be, I bet it beats spreadsheets

Oh yeah I get what you mean, I do prefer working outside over being an in office environment everyday even if it gets a bit boring haha

Very cool. Curious if you are contracted to United or if you get to fuel other carriers.

Just for united

Does it take forever to fill a 777? I feel like it would take 40 minutes.
_Ivan88@reddit (OP)
It takes at least 40 minutes usually unless its domestic 😂 300er can even take over an hour.

It'll get filled when the next oil tanker gets out of the Hormuz
