Great question and very relevant for anyone considering this path.
Honest answer based on the current market:
Can you get a job after 3 months? Yes it is possible but competitive. 3 months gives you enough to understand the basics of 1C development — configuration, forms, queries and basic business logic. But most companies hiring juniors want to see real project experience not just course completion.
What actually helps you get hired faster:
Build a real portfolio project Create a small 1C configuration from scratch — even a simple inventory management or accounting system. This shows employers you can actually build something not just follow tutorials.
Contribute to open source 1C projects GitHub has some 1C projects. Contributing shows initiative and real world experience.
Get 1C:Professional certification The official 1C certification exam significantly improves your chances with Russian employers and justifies a higher starting salary.
Target smaller companies first Large enterprises want 1-2 years experience. Small and medium businesses often hire motivated juniors willing to learn on the job.
About the 50,000 rubles salary: This is realistic for Moscow and St Petersburg for a junior with a portfolio and certification. In regional cities starting salaries are typically lower around 35,000 to 45,000 rubles but cost of living is also lower.
The 1C market is actually quite stable in Russia because almost every Russian company uses 1C for accounting and business management. Demand for developers is consistently high especially for those who understand both the technical and business sides.
After 1-2 years experience salaries jump significantly to 100,000+ rubles which makes it a solid career path.
Good luck with the course — focus on building real projects alongside it!
