Hey guys, I'm 20 years old bachelor student studying CS and AI, I just started my 2nd semester and wondering if I can have the chance to pursue my carrer as an airline pilot in the future.

I have been flying planes in simulators (not the real sims just computer ones like MSFS and X plane) over 4 years and so far I enjoyed every second of it, this got me thinking that I should be an airline pilot.

I wanna know the challanges of being an airline pilot and the benefits as well, how long will the training take to complete and how expensive will it be?, is having a degree beneficial in any way? considering the current situation, is it even worth being a pilot?

Id love to hear your honest opinions and thoughts on my questions.
