Feedback on my new rifle build

Hi yall! I just bought a new radical firearms socom 16” the other day and I’ve been building it as just like a budget gun that can get roughed up and it not be a big deal. So far I’ve added a
Vortex crossfire II Red dot
Strike industries charging handle
Magpul vertical foregrip
B5 sopmod stock
B5 stipple grip
And bought a few pmags
I still want to buy a nice light setup
Maybe a different muzzle
And maybe some other internal upgrades
If anyone has any questions, comments, suggestions, concerns, or just wants to put in your two cents then please go ahead!
Thanks yall!

looks really good bro. not absolutely necessary but the red dot can be moved up to the front of the upper receiver, right before the handguard

Thanks man! What’s the advantage to moving it up farther on the rail?

Definitely worth it to move it forward to the front of your upper receiver.
It will give you better peripheral vision and also leave room for backup sights or a magnifier in the future.
It's really a no brainer, there is no reason to have your dot so far back.

you get more room for magnifiers and it also gives you a more open field of view around the target. the housing of the sight will block more of your vision if it is closer to your face.

You have a better view for peripherals
