That’s what we all said 20 years ago. But the car press was like “pushrod motors are unrefined junk” & GM was competing with the Mercedes SL. So they went Northstar because it was their only high power 4 cam V8.

Yup. Also the engine is offset like 2 inches to the passenger side to compensate for driver weight
