So guys, i have completed my 12th, waiting for results and giving college entrance exams too.
but I also wanna start some coding and shit coz thats a thing of my interest!!
I already know few things -
- C++ (learnt in 8th or 9th, have to revise again)
- Java (learnt in class 10th)
- python (recently in 11th and 12th)
Now how should i proceed from here????

Start doing some projects, look up in Google "beginner projects in x language", it doesn't matter if they're silly ones, or you could grind on some problem-solving pages such as LeetCode, Codewars, Hackerrank, and so on.

Join some open source projects on Github, and start sharpening your skills

What do you want to work in?

AI-ML ig!

grind python then, it's by far the best AI/ML language and it's pretty common in web dev too. If you want to get a job, you'll likely have to learn DSA which is almost exclusively done in python, so regardless of what you do learning python is probably a good move

okay!

Mate, you're in a good spot having those languages already under your belt! Since you've got Python fresh in your mind, maybe lean into that for now - it's mental how versatile it is. Could try some web dev with frameworks, or if you're into problem solving then data structures and algorithms practice might be worth a shout. Really depends what gets you excited though - games, websites, data stuff, etc?

The DSA thing i have no idea.. i am gonna start it in a few days once my college admission is done! and thats coz I am into problem solving and shit..
i would say games really excite me.. and i wanna do web dev too coz when i see some boring and just simple af websites.. i just hate it

Please don't take CSE as a career unless you're very very serious about it and consistent. Because the situation rn is worse. There's no jobs in the market. Only the top 10% are getting hired.

ik that sirr !
istiyak23@reddit
It's just a friendly advise. Because I don't want others to make the same mistake I did. Nothing else mate !!

yeah fine!

Try coding fun programs and keep that interest up no matter what. By fun i mean you can create a bill generator for your go-to grocery store or manage bank accounts or stock in a warehouse
Ok_Mushroom_1496@reddit (OP)
nice idea
PraniReddit09@reddit
Right? I did the same

i see

Pick something you think would be fun to make, and make it. Video game. Robot. App. Gadget. But dont think too hard about what it is, because then you won’t follow through.
