Display settings going to PC screen only

Just posting to see if this has been happening for anyone else, for probably the last 6 months most our monitor related issues end up just being the users laptop going to PC screen only and we just put it back to extend, we have HP laptops with various types of monitors (hp and dell).

On initial installs, it's usually USB port bandwidth limitations or hitting power output limits. On ones that were working and then aren't, someone hit an Intel driver key combo. You can disable them completely though.

Yep, seeing the same across HP fleets. Usually a Windows or graphics driver update flipping the projection mode after a docking event.
Two quick fixes: remind users that Win+P+Enter cycles modes (a lot of "monitor not working" tickets are accidental keystrokes), and update HP graphics drivers via HP Image Assistant rather than Windows Update - generic Microsoft drivers have been the most common culprit for us.
