Two job offers

I just turned 21 so a lot of driving opportunities have opened up to me. I’ve had a few interviews and I have two offers that I’m torn between.
1st offer. Regional, gone M-F with one possible night home per week. Start location is an hour and 40 minutes from me. Pay is $30/hr with OT after 40. Avg 60 hours per week
2nd offer. Local, home every night, day shift start at 6 or 7am, 8-12 hour days. Never any weekends. 60 hour weeks in the busy season and 40 in slow season. Job is 40 minutes from me. Pay is $24/hr with OT after 40.
My family is pushing me toward the regional position, I’ve got about 3 days to decide. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Regional and otr jobs are easier to get than local. If you have a chance to local, that's what I would do. If you don't like it, like I said, the other jobs are easier to get.

Local. You'll get spoiled being able to sleep in your own bed. Especially on those 12 hr days

The regional job sounds more stable, pays better, and has a shorter total weekly commute time.
I would personally take that one while continuing to look for better local opportunities. But I'm not you, so if you have commitments at home and can survive on $960/wk gross for however long the slow season lasts, then that could be a fair choice for you.

Realistically, I would say go regional seems more stable of an income but it’s up to u do u like sleeping in ur own bed or do u want to experience the open road?
Ur 21 so im assuming ur young and have nothing to tie u down. Plus 12 hours a day will really mess with u if ur not use to it

I appreciate the insight. I would like to experience the open road, the thing that’s mainly holding me back from taking the regional job is my side business and mma training

If you have close family, pets and/or a good social life (like your sport probably) I'd always go for the job that lets you sleep every night at home.
We work to be able to live - not the other way around.

Local home daily is best
