I can wholeheartedly endorse horizon aviation. Im a current student their using the gi bill. Idk if they have partnerships with colleges or loans will cover them specifically but it’s worth checking out. Locations in Norwood MA & providence RI.

Thanks, I’ll see if they have funding options!

Have you tried switching instructors?
The problem with the “structure” is you also often times dont have much room for extra training if you are having trouble with a concept.
Every instructor has a different teaching style. I would maybe consider trying some lessons with different instructors before singing on to a 141 school. You can also be very blunt with the instructor. You should tell them up front. You are looking for structure. It is helpful to you to know what each lesson will be so you can study ahead and prepare for concepts and maneuvers ahead of time rather than deciding what will be the lesson when you arrive.
If this is about self study though i have bad news 141 will not have less self study. Self study is part of being a pilot. In Private pilot there is a lot of hand holding, but still a lot of self study. Every rating beyond that IFR, Comercial, and then Type ratings or airlines all require more and more self teaching.

I’m sure you are right about the self study and that’s something I need to work on but I also need something with funding options bc if I continue to pay as I go, I won’t go anywhere.

This is a copy of the original post body for posterity:
I’m currently working on getting my PPL at a part 61 school but I’m struggling at learning at my own pace. I really want to find a decent part 141 school after my PPL because I do better with structure. Preferably a school where I can get a student loan incase I can’t pay it back right away but people keep shitting on part 141 so idk what to do. I’m based in Massachusetts but open to relocating if I have to and I already have a college degree. Any advice on schools I should look at or ones with other financing options besides private loans?

It looks like you're asking about getting a college degree.
A degree never hurts, get one if you can afford it. Whether it is required today or not, it may be required tomorrow. And the degree can be in anything, the major isn't that important.
Please read our FAQ, which has a ton of information and wisdom about becoming a pilot, including advice on college.
