Which frequency is the best for the 5700x

So, i was doing research on ram and i saw 4600mhz for a good price, but i saw that the 5700x only supports to a maximum of 3200mhz, but some posts say that the sweet spot for these cpu's are 3600mhz, do you guys think that its safe to run a 5700x on a B550-F Rog Strix with 32gb of 4600/3600mhz?

Exactly, CL18 3600 runs about the same as CL16 3200, CL16 3600 is where it's at

So the best memory would be 3600 cl16/14 because of the higher frequency and lower latency?
FantasticBike1203@reddit
correct.

Typically for AM4 I tend to stick with 3200 or 3600. You can usually get to 3800 and keep the fclk to a 1-1 ratio. To me the 4600 ddr4 memory would just be wasting money.

So why is 4600 ddr4 ram even a thing if all am4 cpu's only support up to 3200/800 mhz?
Naerven@reddit
Because the 65% market share Intel CPUs can use it.

With Zen 2/3 the limitation is your FCLK aka Infinity Fabric. It needs to remain in 1:1 ratio with your UCLK (memory controller clock) and MCLK (memory clock) for good performance.
Nearly all Zen 2/3 chips can run 1800MHz FCLK, 1900Mhz is usually the upper limit. In simple terms, DDR4 3600 for easy compatibility, 3800 if you get lucky.

can you explain to me what is FCLK, UCLK, MCLK and 1:1 ratio? Im very layman in this ram area
HEBushido@reddit
I don't think you can use DDR5 ram on an AM4 motherboard which your CPU uses.
9okm@reddit
DDR4 goes up to 4600.
