If companies did shit like this more often, not as many people would hate EVs.

EVs get a bad rap because *dealers* hate them and refuse to promote them. Dealers make their money in the service department, and EVs don’t require all that regular maintenance and have fewer parts to break.
Tesla does so well because they actually promote a product that people want.

Honestly after my father's abysmal customer service experience with Hyundai EVs I doubt I'd ever own one, they kept his in maintenance for over a year, just kept giving him new loaners every few months

They do do shit like this all the time (Ford Supervan, Mustang Cobra Jet, Porsche Mission R, VW ID R, Ioniq 5N eN1 Cup Car etc. etc., the online gatekeepers still “hate” them.

Someone stepped on it

Impressive how it still looks like a Leaf.

I hate it in so many levels. Possibly in every level.

Looks cooler than they sold.
However,
IMO 2018's Nismo RC looks more like a legit GT entry

it is nice but I think the Prius GT is cooler. (they actually won a few races)

Okay, this I can get behind
