EbikeRandom@reddit
You already have it out lol, throw some new ones in.
Corgerus@reddit
Those are toast. Get new pads and don't cheap out. I personally use EMTB+ ceramic brake pads from Top Brake. They last a long time and have a lot of power. When you make the switch to those, or other brake pads, it's a good idea to lightly scuff the brake rotor surface with 400 grit sandpaper to remove some old brake dust. But you shouldn't have to if your new brake pads are the same friction material as the previous brakes (sintered / metallic?).
And bed them in good! Light pressure braking, slowly build pressure as the brakes feel more and more powerful.

Not a good idea to clean with an IPA. Too many sugars and they are designed to be drank. Leave out the hops and grain snd just use alcohol.
AviationMetalSmith1@reddit
Maybe he means 70% isopropyl alcohol
Corgerus@reddit
I use 99%. Unsure if that's bad, haven't had issues with it.

It’s better, less water, more solvent. Even though water is technically a solvent. But, you get it.
Corgerus@reddit
Right, i meant to say everclear
Snarkosaurus99@reddit
👍
BoRider-@reddit
Everclear should be a 1/2 distribution method between the rotors and your facial calipers.

The brake pads are already worn out. For your safety, you'd better replace them with new ones as soon as possible. After replacement, remember to test ride first, and don't ride normally until everything works fine.
ArmchairPancakeChef@reddit
Are you serious? You look at that pad and have to wonder whether or not they need replacing?
Unbelievable.
Aggressive_Space9684@reddit
Naw, those still got another 1000 miles on them
TurboBunny116@reddit
YES.
Replace them before you hut yourself.
yaboyszn@reddit
Nobody out pizzas the hut and gets away with it
TurboBunny116@reddit
HURT damnit lol
AviationMetalSmith1@reddit

Laserdollarz@reddit

poedraco@reddit

Imo get a automotive company brand ones. There last longer and better bite... Ebc, stoptech, etc
OldMany8032@reddit
Yes
Relative-Display-676@reddit
Lol I think you know the answer...
Creative_Buddy7160@reddit
Only if you plan on stopping
ohwowhowdthathappen@reddit
Yes a while ago. They also need to be adjusted properly, that's very uneven wear.
Inciteful_Analysis@reddit
And bed in the next pair of pads properly.
TopRepulsive4766@reddit
Pretty bad. And the obvious answer to your title question is...YES. Get those replaced ASAP.
