Question about background checks.

Hi all,
Back in 2022 someone filed a police report against me. Nothing ever came of it. No charges, convictions, or arrests. Would this show up on a part 135, or 121 background check? Has anyone had a similar situation? TIA!

It might.
You can pull your own FBI file to see what info exists there.

Let's see now... I'm an Elk, A Mason, a Communist, I'm the president of the gay and lesbian alliance for some reason... Ah, here it is! The Stonecutters!

Background checks don’t really matter it’s what they ask on the application. IMO no airline app asks about this therefore it’s no factor

Just went thru this yesterday while getting Global Entry. Same sorta situation. I told CBP about it in the interview and they didn't find anything about it. I'd imagine CBP is using the same system prospective employers are using. You're probably fine.

No body, no crime.

Probably. But convictions are more of an issue. You probably are fine
