Just picked this up at a recent auction, I own a few Husqvarna sporting guns now and I’m always really impressed by the quality and how cheap they are on the used market. This one would originally have been chambered for 2 1/2” shells but has had the forcing cones opened up for 2 3/4”. It’s surprisingly trim and light even if the barrels are on the heavier side, I look forward to getting it out to the trap club.

Beautiful piece!!! How much would one cost usually?

I mean you can generally pick up an old Husqvarna for $300-$400. In terms of a new production side by side you’re looking at over $1000 for anything remotely decent quality.

It sounds like you've had it looked over but be careful with side by sides that have refinished barrels. The markings on your barrels have been buffed over and are soft.
The hot bluing process is sometimes hot enough to melt the brazing/soldering compound on the barrels and can cause the barrels to split.

Yeah, that can be a concern but these one’s are fine. Still chime and everything.
