Do you guys eat cereal with hot, cold or no milk?

I normally eat cereal with hot milk because the coldness of cold milk makes me throw up.
Kapika96@reddit
Weetabix = hot, everything else = cold.
Ideally almond milk too.
Kezmangotagoal@reddit
That’s disgusting lmao just cold, normal milk!
w00dent0p@reddit
Granola, cold bordering on freezing. Porridge, hot
Those are the options.
Obvious-Water569@reddit
Cold. But thinking about it, the right cereal with warm milk would be a delight.
NeedCake707@reddit
Cold unless I'm just having it as a snack while I'm in the middle of doing something, then I'll have it dry so I can just pick as I go.
Polz34@reddit
Cold milk unless it's porridge
elogram@reddit
Urgh, my parents were on some serious health kicks when I was a kid so my cereal mostly came with warm milk with added turmeric. Now, as an adult, it’s cold milk all the way. The crunch is one of the best parts of cereal.
Dimac99@reddit
Soggy cornflakes are a tragedy.
Gnome_Father@reddit
Water.

I found my tribe.

They're not difficult to find; the locations of mental health facilities are publicly available.
trialbybees@reddit
I only eat weetabix with hot milk. The rest is with cold
Swatch843@reddit

Breakfast_Bob_@reddit
Too much milk on your hands boy ‘sniffff’
smellyfeet25@reddit
Cold milk but sometimes i have eaten it out the packet
Shrimp_Watch101@reddit
No milk. I just don't like the texture of milky cereal.
(I'd rather not have butter in sandwiches either.)
It's just a preference. I'm fed up of feeling I'm expected to defend it IRL.
"Yeah I'd like some Cheerios, no milk on those, thanks." See how simple that is? Apparently many people don't.
gse2026@reddit
I put half a can of Stella on my weetabix. Try it.
Extreme-Composer8452@reddit
You saving the other half for a second bowl?
gse2026@reddit
No, I make noodles with it for lunch.
berkleysquare@reddit
Corn Flakes and whisky, good old Scottish breakfast.
Dissidant@reddit
Depends on time of year.
Not really a cereal person or a breakfast one for that matter
But porridge in winter months = hot
Muesli in milder months = cold
Non-wholesomechungus@reddit
I genuinely had no idea hot milk in cereal was a real thing until I went to stay at a hospital ward and they asked me if I wanted it hot. I genuinely thought I was losing my mind
KingGeedo91@reddit
I always thought I hated cereal because my mum / dad used to do it with hot milk.
I’ve since realised they are insane as cold milk so so much nicer
dobber72@reddit
Cold, almost always, except for porridge.
Wise-Pay-8993@reddit
My wife has Weetabix with warm tea or coffee. But any other cereal we have with cold milk or sometimes no milk.
thereadingbee@reddit
im hoping you mean separately eating and drinking bc wtf
Wise-Pay-8993@reddit
Nope she pours it in. She'll make the cup of tea and coffee, two cups one for drinking alongside and one for pouring into the weetabix with marmite if its tea.
Short-Shopping3197@reddit
I was thinking don’t knock it till you’ve tried it while it was just tea, but Marmite? Your missus is weird mate.
Wise-Pay-8993@reddit
Try it with tea as its actually very nice
thereadingbee@reddit
I hope you sleep with one eye open
Key_Plum_99a@reddit
Dipping that Weetabix into a coffee like it’s a hobnob.
Why-R-Your-Eyes-Red@reddit

Starlight-Kitty@reddit
Who is the psychopath who eats cereal with hot milk….
ParkingTiny6301@reddit
What cereal are you eating
captain_crackerjack@reddit
This. Different temperature milks for different… needs.
Short-Shopping3197@reddit
People acting like hot milk on cereal is some kind of new weird thing. Pretty common in winter, lots of hotels offer the choice.
Opposite_Funny9958@reddit
Hot, cold or none. Depends on the cereal.
Used-Flamingo-4320@reddit
Hot?….Hot?!!!!
Key_Plum_99a@reddit
Porridge -hot Weetabix -hot Fruit n fibre - hot Sultana Bran - hot Shredded wheat - hot
Special K - cold Granola -cold
My Mum can’t have her cereal with cold milk, you’re not alone, cold milk tastes of COW, hot milk is sweeter and less COW taste. 🐄
Ornery_Pipe_9243@reddit
Cold now but when I was a kid nothing beat Frosties with warm milk
poundlandbag@reddit
HOT!?
Obviously cold milk for all cereal. No milk if I'm high as a kite at night and needing a popcorn type snack.
The only thing I'm using hot milk for is making hot porridge.
Maybe OP is mistaking cereal for porridge? Or porridge is what they call cereal?
Ivy_Sinclaire@reddit
Cold milk. And if it's Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, then a drizzle of honey too.
DB-DanCooper@reddit
Cold milk generally. Traditional cereal must still be huge but I've not had it on years. Some of it is great though.
ClericalRogue@reddit
Depends on the ceral and time of year.
Usually cold milk
But in winter, hot milk with rice crispies or corn flakes is comfort food for me
Difficult_Bad1064@reddit
Rarely eat any. It's children's food in my mind, though it probably shouldn't be for children either.
LouTheOM@reddit
Cold because I want my cereal to stay somewhat crunchy. It’s not porridge.
Major_Toe_6041@reddit
I’d consider porridge to be in the cereal category so both?
Interesting-Fan5822@reddit
Mostly cold. I love Alpen with hot milk though
TheCookieMonsterYum@reddit
Cold milk or yoghurt for certain cereal. Overnight oats def cold lol.
