Started with a couple BB guns at 16, got my CCW at 22, and now I’ve officially finished my first PSA 11.5” AR build. The Derya .22LR rifle has been way more fun than I ever expected. The gun cabinet is a Stack On 18 that I glued carpet to.
So far I’ve put about 500 rounds through the Taurus G2C, around 100 rounds through the AR15, and roughly 300 rounds through the Derya TM22. The only issue I’ve had is the Derya failing to fire about once every 40–50 rounds, but for such a cheap .22, that seems pretty normal.
Currently looking at budget micro/ micro compacts with an optic cut to replace my concealed carry, preferably something made in USA. So far I’m leaning towards the Psa micro dagger extreme carry cut, anyone carry this daily?

Needs more ammo.

the Taurus Gx2 is a great budget handgun. the grip is similar to the caniks in my opinion. trigger is awesome. I bought mine new and haven't had a malfunction since I broke it in and I've got almost 3k rounds through it. mine was brand new for $260

Smith and wessson shield x, or Shield 2 sounds about like what you're looking for.
midnightrider2235@reddit
Look at a shield plus or Ruger rxm they seem to better than the os9s dagger
Competitive_Reach562@reddit (OP)
Maybe the shield or hellcat, the ruger rxm is way too big to conceal, and I have smaller hands.
midnightrider2235@reddit
I would go for the shield plus. I think the optics ready version is cheaper than the hellcat.

Your poor extractor :(
Competitive_Reach562@reddit (OP)
Oh your talking about extractor in the ar since I’m using steel?😂 I should be fine for a few thousand rounds
brando29999@reddit
More like 10k extractor wear from steel case blown way out of proportion especially with ars being milspec just buy a new extractor for like $10
Competitive_Reach562@reddit (OP)
Yea, by then I’ll save hundreds in ammo alone
Competitive_Reach562@reddit (OP)
The extractor seems to be fine, hasn’t left an empty case in yet, the problem is the firing pin, it will make a dent on the side of the round but won’t go off, once I load it back in it’ll fire. Could be a cheap ammo problem or cheap gun problem. Hopefully I’ll never have to defend myself with a .22😂

If it cat take steel it doesn’t deserve brass

Def better options then PSA anything for CCW. Both cheaper and same price. Look at M&P Shield/Bodyguards, Ruger RXM and LCP, Arex Delta, Hk VP9 (older models can get low) and some glocks. Used market is also nothing to scoff at btw, most ppl put nearly or literally nothing through their guns. Trust.

I was way ahead of you at 25 my friend. Got my first shotgun today and my first rifle at 12:00. By the time I graduated high school, I had an ak-47, sks, Glock 17, 22 revolver and two pump shotguns.

Wait…. You’re telling me u didn’t pop out the womb with a derringer?
Low-Landscape-4609@reddit
Close lol. My father was an avid shooter and my grandfather was a competitive shooter. Got my first BB gun when I was four or five.

I wasn’t even allowed a nerf gun till I was 14😂

True story, I already had a shotgun but Dad said I wasn't responsible enough for a 22 around 10 years old. You took about somebody that was really butt hurt lol.
Ended up buying me one at the age of 12 and I got over it.
