I'm moving to Bulgaria in July and have been looking at rental options, and there's nothing below 500 EUR for a studio in Sofia. With utilities, internet and all, that leaves maybe 400 a month for living? With the recent price hikes in grocery shops and all, I wouldn't consider anything below 2500.

The salary I was offered in Bulgaria is 10000 EUR... Think I'll pass, but thanks.
Sea-Breath-007@reddit
Sorry, but who in their right mind would say yes to that with that salary?
Sure, cost of living is lower than it is in western Europe, but minimum wage is already almost double what you offer in quite a few European countries and that often doesn't include nightshifts.

it is what the company offers, its out of my hand unfortunately. I do have another opportunity in Madrid, Spain with higher salary if you are interested. You have to be able to speak Dutch tho.
Subterraniate2@reddit
Dutch?
kimikz@reddit (OP)

Sea-Breath-007@reddit

You know they’re not human traffickers at least because who the fuck would move and work there for a maximum of 1,500 a month? 😭😭
