i have some RayBan Wayfarers that have accumulated plenty of scratches over the years. Has anyone had a good experience in repairing or replacing lenses through a 3rd party? happy to read your experiences. Ive done some research but like to hear from others

Being able to afford a pair of RayBan's is something i'll never be able to afford. Well done to you, but most people can't afford that.

Ray-Ban? The most expensive in the site are just under £3k most are in the 2-300 range.
I’d say most people can afford that if it’s what they wanted?

I have some Oakley Meta glasses that I replaced the lenses in. I got them from lensology and fitted them myself. Not sure how easy it Is to do on raybans though

I use selectspecs to reglaze all my glasses (every two-ish years. They also do sunglasses, you can always email them and ask them if they cover the frame/lens type.
Ive used selectspecs for over 10 years, great service and cant recommend enough.

This. Just get them reglazed. No prescription needed.

Bought OG RayBan lenses from replacement lenses.net, couldn’t be happier. Saved a pair of glasses for about £60 with lenses good as new, took about 10 mins to figure out and fit. Only minor criticism is it took a while to ship.

is there not a secondhand market for lenses?
i have two pairs of ray bans, but i’m prescription and when i send them away to be done, they always send the non prescription lens they removed back to me. lenses just pop out with a bit of pressure for replacing.
i’ve got loads i’ve kept, as though one day my eyes will magically fix themselves (they won’t) 🤣

No I'd just buy new ones. Unless they are prescription then I'd ask an optician to save the frames.
