Some concert tickets are cheap. Ticketmaster has a list right now of a bunch starting at $30. I just scored 3 Motley Crue tickets for $40 each to be in the pavilion.

I'm not looking at the list right now but there was Billy Idol, Motley Crue, Rob Zombie(with Manson, Orgy and The Hu), Steve Vai/Satriani/Animals as Leaders, Wu Tang
Those are off the top of my head. Great deal for those shows. For Crue $30 would have put us on the lawn so we went with $40 to be in the pavilion in case it rains.
Check it out all
markeydusod@reddit
Not much here… Especially in Portland metro… Where a great deal of people live
Which-Inspection735@reddit
Bought tix to see trampled by turtles yesterday. Probably buying a single to go see the Toadies and Local H today. I wouldn’t mind going to see Dethklok this Sunday but I REALLY don’t want to drive to the National Harbor.
Captain-Pig-Card@reddit
Did it come with a Delorean?
Peace-wolf@reddit
Pay me $40 and I’ll go but I’m leaving before the encore.
FilletOFishForMyVife@reddit
The downside is, you have to sit through a Motley Crue concert.
HighSeasArchivist@reddit
They got their little peepees smacked last week and trying to look like the good guy.
Subject-Ad-8055@reddit
$40 is $30 to much for crew now days 😂
drunkenknitter@reddit
I'm tempted to buy Crue Tix just for Tesla and Extreme!
skiphandleman@reddit
Same. I'll literally leave before Crue goes on. I've seen both Extreme and Tesla recently. Both were awrsome.
sherrib99@reddit
Totally worth it….awesome concert and home by 10
TopspinLob@reddit
I thought that Live Nation and Ticketmaster only gouged and took advantage of the customer?
TheJollyHermit@reddit
They're catching an increasing amount of heat and notoriety so this is probably an attempt to give a little cover until it calms down a bit....
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
I'm not saying they don't but I've never had a problem.
troisarbres@reddit
I saw Rob Zombie forever ago and he was absolute crap I'm sorry to say. Probably my worst concert ever and definitely my most disappointing .
Ok-Opportunity2280@reddit
I've seen him a few times, twice in the last 5 years, and every time has been great! Sucks you had a bad experience.
troisarbres@reddit
I'm glad to hear that because that's what I thought we were in for. I still love him though! Love his movies too!
SXTY82@reddit
I saw him quite a few times in the 90s / early 00s and he was awesome.
These days, there are not a lot of bands from that era that I'll see live. Most have aged poorly and it feels like elder abuse to see them. Or maybe it's me looking at my own mortality that sours the shows.
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
I agree on a lot aging poorly. We’ve seen Alice Cooper twice in a year and he is solid. Like I said I’m not a big Crue fan but my daughter likes them a lot. Couple that with seeing John 5 and Nuno and it’s worth $40.
I was just trying to give people a heads up cause I have seen many threads here with people bitching about prices. There are a lot in that list. Turns out they just want to talk shit cause I’m going to Crue.
Buckethead for $30. That’s a great deal. Paul Simon. Hell yeah.
SXTY82@reddit
I'm not one of the folk ragging on you for Crue. I'm not up for pissing on someone's face and telling them it's raining.
I saw Cooper a lot back in the day, got to meet him once. His show are phenomenal. He also has a style that allows him to still sound great.
I saw Willy Nelson when he was 86. He was amazing. Again, a style that is relaxed and easy so his voice still sounded great. His guitar playing blew me away. He went on for 5 or 10 minuets with a solo on an acoustic guitar that blew me away.
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
I know you’re not. I just expect people to be shitty. Now I know. There are definitely some legacy acts out there putting in good shows. Some are not so good and should hand it up. Dude the meet and greet for Alice last week was $700.
SXTY82@reddit
I won a radio 'contest' that was an auction to raise money after 9/11.
The prize was dinner, limo to and from the show. VIP tickets, Meet and Greet and an autographed guitar. My bid was $800. Of course, this was 25 years ago.
Five_String_Serenade@reddit
Are you talking about Cynthia Woods? My guess is, attendance is down because the age group to see those bands, flocked the place in its early years cuz we were young and could deal with it physically; but now, it’s too much of a trek and it’s WAY too hot in our 50s and 60s. Not to mention the cost of beverages seems higher than Toyota Center, even Red Rocks. I won’t go anymore unless I’m up close under the ceiling fans and have booked a hotel for the evening. In short, I’m sure sales are down.
Away_Ingenuity8639@reddit
I’d pay $30 to NOT see Motley Crue.
NoAbbreviations290@reddit
I’d pay $30 in ‘86
DoookieMaxx@reddit
I’d pay $30 not to see
MaximumJones@reddit
You could not pay me to listen to Vince Neil "sing" like he is having a stroke on stage.
Billy Idol I would see anytime, anywhere.
TheCheshireCody@reddit
I was let down by his last album, after absolutely loving the previous two, but his live performances are still epic.
MaximumJones@reddit
Yeah, his last album was kind of a cash grab but I think that was more of the company.
His live shows are phenomenal (even the ones after his motorcycle accident where he came on stage with a cane and could barely walk.). Billy just brings it. 🤘
TheCheshireCody@reddit
I don't know if I'd call it a cash grab but it definitely lacked fire. Coming after of Kings and Queens of the Underground (excellent) and Devil's Playground (one of my favorite albums ever) it had a high bar to clear and just didn't even try.
MaximumJones@reddit
I mean I get it. Bro is 70, he probably feels like slowing down a little.
Nah, who am I kidding, he will always be Billy Freaking Idol! 😁
TheCheshireCody@reddit
Ever listen to him read his memoirs? It's amazing. Nothing like hearing him brag about banging a stewardess in an airplane bathroom in his own voice. I can't believe he and Steve Stevens are still working together and both are still amazing live. (I also can't believe Steve still feels the need to wear the wig, but that's a whole other thing with some of these aging metalheads.)
MaximumJones@reddit
OMG yes. Did you hear his NPR interview about his new HULU special a couple of weeks ago.
He is the embodiment of rebel. 🤣
TheCheshireCody@reddit
I didn't. I didn't realize Billy Idol Should Be Dead had come out! Gotta watch that.
He has definitely lived the rock & roll lifestyle more than most people who've lived to tell about it.
asporkable@reddit
Very true, but Tesla and Extreme are opening , worth $40 for sure
MaximumJones@reddit
Definitely. I would watch Tesla and Extreme then leave to avoid traffic. 😁
BottleAgreeable7981@reddit
He's just warming up for Christmas season.
Skindigga@reddit
They should have paid you to go see the Crue.
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
Nah It's worth it. I'm not the biggest fan but my daughter loves them. I am a big fan of John 5 and he will be there. totally worth it. Extreme is there too so we get to see Nuno.
MaximumJones@reddit
I have to say, Mick Mars still carries Motley Crue. He is the only one with actual talent. Just watching him play guitar is worth the price of admission.
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
Mick Mars is not playing with them. John 5 is the guitarist for this tour.
MaximumJones@reddit
Well then, leave after the other bands to beat the traffic 😁
TheCheshireCody@reddit
Can't argue with that part. I'll let you imagine my surprised face when there's ONE show that is both by a decent band and within a three-hour drive of me.
First-Ad-7960@reddit
I also got the identical "tickets on sale" email from LiveNation, TicketMaster, and three different venues I have attended a show at recently.
So are they having issues with ticket sales or worried about the recent court ruing?
Front_Gap_1704@reddit
Heard Motley Crue lately lol
MarrymeCherry88@reddit
Cant get their website
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
If you Google
ticketmaster $30 concerts 2026 it will come up
Goodrun31@reddit
Finds out they got a voucher for 3 napkins
wisemonkey101@reddit
This is their response to being called out for running a monopoly.
Phog_of_War@reddit
That Zombie tour is a good one. His new album is really good, and Orgy put on one of the top 10 performances I've ever seen.
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
How was The Hu?
Phog_of_War@reddit
Oh, as I read it back it DOES sound like I went to this show. Sadly, I did not, I wish. I was just saying Zombies new stuff slaps and that Orgy put one one of the better shows I've seen.
KilroySmithson@reddit
But the $250 in fees is where they get ya.
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
My three tickets were $122 all in.
Grunge4U@reddit
If you just plan ahead and get alerts for deals like this as well as pre-sales you can find plenty of decent concert prices.
Rahawk02@reddit
I’m seeing Alice Cooper, Godsmack, the Hooters and Everclear at our local radio station rock festival for about that price. I’m going out on a limb and guessing it will be my last chance to see 80 year old Alice Cooper live
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
You’re probably right. It’s a good show. You’ll like it.
Rahawk02@reddit
I think I’ve seen him in my teens, twenties, thirties and now I’m squeaking one last time in my really late forties.
truce_m3@reddit
Good call! The one band I wanted to see didn't have any $30 tickets left, but Maria Bamford did!
jaycutlerdgaf@reddit
I wouldn't go see Motley Crue if it was free.
SIGMONICUS@reddit
Vince should pay fans because they do all the singing
Bomdiggitydoo@reddit
Fuck Great White.
BoundGreef@reddit
$40 for Motley Crue is $140 more than I’m willing to spend to see them now
Lrxst@reddit
They were the worst act I've ever seen live, and that was 30 years ago.
SXTY82@reddit
Awesome deals.
Just a head up, the 301 thru 307 are not covered sections. They are open sky seats. That whole area used to be lawn.
NorseYeti@reddit
Why is my initial thought that it is $40 for the ticket, and will be an additional $100 in fees, just knowing Ticketmaster and Livenation?
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
All three tickets were $122 all in
tequilasundae@reddit
MUSE is among them
limited_instincts@reddit
There's a reason those tickets are cheap my friend. The Crue are ATROCIOUS now. Like pure unadulterated embarrassment.
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
My daughter likes them so it's worth it. We all like John 5 and Nuno is great too. Worth $40 to us.
oboingadoing@reddit
Tesla and Extreme are worth the ticket price.
klippDagga@reddit
Nuno is extremely underrated as a guitarist.
erilaz7@reddit
I generally prefer concerts in small and medium-sized venues, and the vast majority of shows I go to are $50 or less. The last show I saw (not counting a free show by one of my faves at a library) cost me less than $30. The same is true the next show on my calendar, this coming Saturday.
tunaman808@reddit
Yeah, I looked at that. Mostly old fart acts. No thanks.
GroveGuy33133@reddit
Fuck Livenation/Ticketmaster. In a time where artists need to tour to actually make money since selling records ain’t much of a thing anymore, they gouge us because of greed.
Glad you found what you consider a good value OP, but it doesn’t really make up for the rest.
Uncle_DirtNap@reddit
I saw Crue in 1991 and they sucked. You couldn’t pay me $40 to go to that show…
RoyalPuzzleheaded259@reddit
$30 to watch Vince Neal crinkly face plant on stage. Worth it.
ClumbsyVulture@reddit
I'll give you $10 to not make me go to that show
-Granby-@reddit (OP)
