Are you WFH or on-site in your host country?

Asking because I have the opportunity to do both in my host country, and I'm a little torn. On the one hand, WFH is so comfortable, zero commute, and time for my hobbies. Working on-site, though, allows me to have a more diverse network of people around. I can actually practice the language with REAL people as opposed to just class scenarios, tutors and praktika/gemini.
Do you have a preference?

WFH. I live only 30min away so going to the office is not much effort. But I still prefer home cause you save a lot of energy

I have options for both, but I prefer working from office as most of my team does the same. This has been a big plus when it comes to Learning the language and understanding the culture better . And during summer I walk back home it's a nice walk which I really look forward to.

99% WFH, I go to the office less than once a month, usually just if something needs to be signed.

living the dream.

Really depends, I wouldn't mind socializing more with my colleagues, but the atmosphere is highly unproductive. I get more done in a shorter time from home and can effectively chill half of my working hours.

is there a possibility to do both? like work at the office for the first couple of months to get to know people and not feel so lonely while you're settling in a new place, and then transition to wfh? or a mixed option like 2 days office/3 days wfh?

I'm exploring it, tbh. Hybrid might be the best option for me.

Wfh. I used to buy in the social benefits of rto but after several years of both in-office and wfh, I think think the social argument is bs. Now I socialise with my neighbours.

Ha. Are your neighbors any fun?

hybrid, I go in to the office ~2 days a week.

WFH but I’m leaving Monday to start maternity leave and it was a 1 year contract so I’m all done 😭
I loved it more than I thought I would. I’m very social so hybrid is perfect for me, but I got out on the road a lot for the second bit of my job role so I was content.
