ULPT Request. Three guys assaulted my girlfriend, I wanna do something

Hi everyone.
Early Sunday morning, around 4 a.m., my partner was assaulted and robbed right outside a metro station in London. There were three guys. They beat her up badly, hitting her in the head and face with a bottle. She ended up with a concussion and a broken nose.
I live far away (really far) so I can’t actually be there for her the way I wish I could. I can’t help take care of her injuries or support her in person after something so traumatic. She told me there was blood everywhere. It’s been really hard for her to go out especially because they live very close to her and it kills me that I feel so powerless from a distance
Because of that, the only thing I feel like I can do right now is try to get some kind of revenge or justice. The police don’t seem to care much and haven’t been very cooperative so far.
I do have a rough idea of the address of one of the guys. After the attack, my partner’s phone location showed it was taken to a specific place and stayed there all night. I might also be able to get descriptions of the guys. My partner is trying to see if she can get the CCTV footage from the subway station, but honestly that also seems unlikely.
So I’m here asking for advice. What could I realistically do in this situation? What options are there that are actually legal? And is there any way I could help my partner feel safe leaving the house again after something like this?
She has no family there
It was a huge trauma for her, and I feel incredibly helpless not being able to do anything from here. I just want to do something.

Quick disclaimer: from what my partner could tell, these didn’t seem like professional criminals. They were three young guys in their early twenties who honestly didn’t seem like they really knew what they were doing. In the end they didn’t even keep the phone, they eventually dumped it somewhere else

How specific was the place? You can track it to a particular house? Or small building?
I'd start by surveilling it, taking high quality photos of any men matching the description who are coming and going. Get her to identify them.
After that, anything is possible - they won't have a clue who you are, or how you know them. You can mess with them in many ways, from pranks and theft all the way up to more extreme measures - you can also go to the police with their photo, address and witness testimony.

We will gather friends to surveil the building and also the station cause they might try and act again nearby. Please do give the police an opportunity to investigate. I know it's tough to trust that they will do anything, but keep in contact with them and provide as much info as possible. Hopefully justice is serve, but even if it isn't (slap on the wrist), they will provide you with the info you need about these idiots if found.

Try and get cc footage make sure you get the right people, then tail then 1 by one and when they are alone beat the crap out of them. If they are bigger then bring a tool or weapon. That's what I would do.

I was sexually assaulted on my way home, managed to run away, the guy got arrested about half an hour later, was heavily drugged, drugs on him as well. He was out of the arrest within 2 days, walking free, probably still on drugs, I have been waiting for CPS decision if they prosecute since 2022. Police keeps ringing and asking me to drop the case as I moved houses. I keep refusing. They keep saying it won't go to court.

I was a textbook case. A complete stranger, in broad daylight, about 2 min walk from my house, I could see he was on drugs and I basically tried to talk my way out of the assault, to then use a small window when he got distracted to run. Because the only two witnesses are children under 10 (who were the distraction I used to run, coming back home from school, he got startled bc children) and there is no CCTV as it was a small pedestrian alleyway the police are saying CPS won't prosecute.
BTW, the attitude would be the same if he actually managed to rape me, which still makes me shiver.

There’s plenty of ways that sits in legality which, in combination with intent to cause harm, would count has bad intent and quickly be illegal. I can only tell you that much but slice and compartment if you plan on doing anything.

I think what you’re reading in the comments is people concerned about you based on the information you chose to share in your initial post. Many people on Reddit (men and women) are unwitting victims of romance scams (see r/isthisAI and similar for a treasure trove of examples) which often follow a very similar plot line to the one you described and ultimately ends in requesting money. I’m really glad you aren’t a victim (and really sorry that your partner had that experience) but you can’t blame people for seeing and naming the similarities when it’s such a common topic of conversation around here and victims tend to be very oblivious.

Try to find out his names via PI or by yourself if possible but of course in absolute discreet. Then find their instagram/facebook etc and access to pictures. Print them out and hang around the place they live with tag "rapist, child abuser". Then call police that you saw someone kidnapped a girl and took it to the house, otherwise police wont care at all.
If you want to go the extra mile, throw a few girl clothes in their garbage if there are no cameras around.

After working with survivors I learned many times we want to react with violence towards those that hurt the ones we love. I mean it makes sense. But victims already feel out of control of themselves, their bodies and the world. It can become and extra stress on victims if loved ones attack others. Unfortunately, sexual assault is extremely hard to persecute and people do not have a grasp on why victims don't report right way, why ppl stay with abusers, why they aren't the perfect victims, etc.
I would ask myself how ploting revenge on these people is actually providing support to my partner? Do they want this? Have you asked how you can support them? Unfortunately you will be throw into jail way quicker than the rapist.

I’m sorry this happened to your gf OP. It sounds really awful and I know it’s hard to feel so helpless. In my experience, London police are actually quite good at investigating this kind of thing. If you have information I’d hand it over to them. My friend was assaulted in London a few years back and both men were found and imprisoned.

When I was assaulted once, my then boyfriend was infuriated. He said he wanted to slice off the tops of the assaulter's knuckles with a razor and grind his hands into the dirt, knuckles down. It never happened of course, and I'd never recommend actually doing that, but I do think it was creative.

Do not do anything without the survivors permission. Your revenge or retribution is going to make things worse by putting her safety at risk or taking away her autonomy. Don't do anything to try to piss off these guys. She is the one who experienced this attack, and a man taking over the situation is not going to help her relearn a sense of safety and control.
With that being said, follow her lead. If she wants to take a self defense class, offer to help her find one in her area with good reviews. If she wants to further the investigation, see if you can help her get the CCTV footage or send the phones location to the police. If she wants to seek healthcare or therapy, help her research therapists/physical therapists/doctors/whatever.

Just a word of caution about the phone location, there was a case in the States not too long ago where a teenager burned down a house and the family occupying it because his stolen phone pinged there by mistake.
Im not saying you would take it that far, but even the place where they took the phone could have just been a temporary hideout or the home of somebody unrelated to the matter.

I don’t know your financial situation but this could be a good thing to get a P.I. for. And even if you couldn’t pay a super expensive price there are a lot of good samaritans in that business, could be worth at-least a conversation. That would just be to confirm the identity and possibly help pass it along to the police.
Something i want to make super super clear is that the police will not do anything with information you yourself/others gather… so many situations of youtubers catching pedophiles (like EDP445) and the police cant do anything because of the investigation being labeled as “entrapment” and not approved by law enforcement beforehand (which i think is fucking bullshit but thats another topic) Thats why a P.I. would be useful. After you can confirm 100% their identity with a legit investigation, pass that to law enforcement.
as far as ULPT you should first find away to retain absolute anonymity (example: if you try to doxx them, the police will 100% know it’s you guys retaliating and you could get in trouble) so if you go that route you need to really sure up your tech skills and OPSec skills. Side Note: i would be willing to assist you with that type of stuff. If you wanna stick to more IRL stuff im a big fan of community pressure… if the cops dont do shit literally just go tell their neighbors. Knock on their doors and tell them what kind of monster they live next to (THIS IS IMPORTANT TOO, YOU NEVER KNOW IF A NEIGHBOR IS A BADASS THAT MIGHT GO FUCK THEM UP FOR YOU) and get them bullied tf out, spread the word.

Borrow google lens glasses from a friend or buy second hand & dont link to any device.
Obtain a safety vest and a clipboard, and maybe work boots.
LEAVE YOUR PHONE AT HOME, but go to the address where the phone was taken to and stayed overnight. Have the google lens glasses on and say you are from the city inspecting gas lines. Bonus if you can get inside the house for a brief time for layout. Bonus if you have a fake business card printed up with the phone number to the nearest scientology office on it. If this is going well, and you're charismatic enough, potentially schedule a follow up appointment to "check the gas lines" again, and find out dates/times when they will and will not be home. Literally print up a survey on your clipboard of things to remember to ask so you're actually writing things down too.
Review footage and confirm with your gf that the person whom you paid a visit is in fact the assaulter. Confirm with your girlfriend that she would like you to take revenge on her behalf. This is supremely important that you have her (the victim's) consent.
Your intel has been gathered. Go with god, leave no prints.

Because you're far away, it may take some time, but revenge doesn't need to be rushed. It's even easier to get away with it the longer you wait.
Step 1: Find out who they are
Step 2: Print photos and make signs that say "WANTED FOR << Pedo/date rape/assault reasons >>" . If you don't make it the worst shit ever, no one will pay attention.
Step 3: Post them around bars, popular areas where young people hang out, their neighborhood, where they may work. Do it in cognitio. If you can pay someone remotely to do it, even better.
Something you can do remotely, if you can find out who they are.
Step 1: Create a fake online profile, make it an attractive girl, but realistic, like a bunch of things, get some activity one it, add friends, as many as possible. Then wait, let the account age.
Step 2: Eventually, add them as friends. Monitor what they do. Gather info, then use it to your advantage. Checking if they post anything to Facebook marketplace opens up a world of opportunity to put them into a specific time and place for example.
Step 3: Piss discs obviously. (Or whatever creative thing you can figure out)
Revenge is much better when patient. I got a friend suggestion for a guy that viciously jumped me when I was 17 years old. I took an old IG account, changed all the pictures, waited a while building the fake persona that fit his interests, making it look very real. I now know where he hangs, his work, and his car and will be figuring something out eventually)

Or pose as a delivery guy, knock on the door, claim there's a package for someone and ID is required.
