Building a compact AI PC in India — need a sanity check on my build (₹1.25L budget)

So I've been going back and forth on this build for a while now and finally locked something in. Wanted to post here before I actually spend the money.

My use case is a bit specific — I'm a BDS student in Andhra Pradesh and I want something I can carry between home and clinic. Needs to run local LLMs (7B-13B models) 24/7 as a headless server, handle remote access via Tailscale + Parsec, and also game decently at 1080p-1440p on the side.

Here's what I landed on:

Case: DeepCool CH160 PLUS (mATX support, has a carry handle)

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600

Mobo: MSI PRO B650M-A WiFi (B650M mATX)

GPU: ASUS Prime RTX 5060 Ti 16GB (targeting ₹53-57K)

RAM: Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 5600MHz

SSD: WD Black SN770 1TB

PSU: Cooler Master V650 SFX Gold

Cooler: DeepCool AK400

Total comes to roughly ₹1.11L-1.24L depending on GPU price that day.

Main reason I went with the 5060 Ti over the 4060 Ti — the GDDR7 memory bandwidth matters a lot for inference speed, and Blackwell tensor cores are noticeably better for local AI. But honestly if the price goes above ₹65K I'll just grab a 4060 Ti 16GB instead since the VRAM is the same.

The CH160 PLUS specifically because the base CH160 is ITX only which kills your motherboard options. The PLUS supports mATX so I can use a normal B650M board instead of paying ₹20K+ for an ITX one.

Planning to run Ollama on Ubuntu 22.04, start with Mistral 7B and scale up.

Questions:

  1. Anyone running a 5060 Ti in India right now — what are you actually paying?

  2. Any issues with AK400 clearance inside CH160 PLUS? Specs say 155mm limit and AK400 is exactly 155mm

  3. Better mATX B650 board suggestions in the same price range?

  4. SFX PSU alternatives to the V650 that are easier to find in India?

Appreciate any real feedback, especially from people who've actually built in compact cases before.
