Positioned as a high-end competitor in the premium minibus market, it is often described as a "boardroom on wheels" designed for corporate hospitality and elite travel.
It is primarily powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 gas engine that produces approximately 292–303 hp and 420 Nm of torque.
It features an 8-speed automatic transmission for smooth handling.
The vehicle typically measures 7,295 mm in length and 2,785 mm in height.
The Guoyue is highly customizable, with seating capacities ranging from 8 to 23 passengers.
Executive Layout (8–12 Seats):
Often features white leather aviator seats, a built-in refrigerator, an electric kettle, and even a single bed for rest during long journeys.
VIP Amenities:
Higher-end modifications include smart luxury seating, large LED screens, and interior designs comparable to high-speed rail first-class cabins.
External Features:
High-quality builds may include LED headlamps, metallic paint options, and 360-degree cameras for the driver.
Recent developments include a REEV (Range Extender Electric Vehicle) version combining a 2.0-liter turbo engine with an electric motor, and plans for hydrogen storage technology.
Originally launched for the Chinese market as a premium alternative to vehicles like the Toyota Coaster, the Guoyue is also available for global export through specialized dealers like IHKA Auto. Retailers such as AutoCango list the 2024 MSRP at approximately 468,000 yuan.

There's optimistic and then there's having a 200km/h speedo on a coach.

I wish they went with the original L6 design.

In my country where I from (Malaysia), these buses are used for public mini buses.
So, it's weird for me to see a normal mini buses turned into some sort of a luxobarge with wood panelling, refrigerator and single bed for rest purposes.
