How to find a rental by owner property in Garland?

Hi all. My fiance and I want to rent a house in garland when our lease is up in June. We are looking for rental by owner because we dont have the best credit. We are currently renting a 2 bedroom condo that is $1710 a month and have never been late on rent and always pay rent early for the 2 years we have been here. We have definitely outgrown it and we are needing a house. Thanks in advance!

I’d check HotPads and use the “for rent by owner” filter first. They actually have a separate FRBO option and there were around 70+ private-owner rentals listed for Garland recently, which makes it easier than digging through random Facebook posts.

Look on Facebook marketplace and Zillow. On Zillow owners can put their property themselves.
