I was the youngest person in attendance at both an Arlo Guthrie and Robin Trower. I haven't been the oldest at a concert yet, but it's only a matter of time.

I saw Die Krupps, My Life With The Trill Kill Cult, and Ministry in SLC last year and I was definitely the oldest person there. I'm 70.

Never noticed was there for the band.

Houston Rodeo, I was among the younger left in the crowd the first time I saw Elvis ... around 4 years old. He didn't come out until after 10pm, so most of the crowd with younger kids had gone home.

I was the oldest at Neck Deep 2024. I was 49
I might have been the youngest at Fleetwood Mac in 1990. I was 14

4 years ago I went to see BTS in Vegas. I was older than the moms who were accompanying their teens. Probably not the oldest person there, but older than most. And I was solo.

Saw Dombresky/Disco Don (EDM show) where my husband and I were definitely two of the oldest people there. I ended playing “Club Mother” in the bathroom with a girl who was barfing into the garbage can. Gotta look out for the younglings 🤷♀️

Went to see Phoebie Bridgers a year or so ago and we were easily the oldest people at the show by about 20 years. Great show, though.

I think my wife and I were the oldest people at a Tame Impala show a few years back who weren't chaperoning their kids. We were both surprised they had a (much) younger fanbase as we had been fans for years. Great show btw.

I was in my early to mid 20's when I saw Traffic with my parents and definitely felt like the youngest person there.

My parents were older so I grew up on Sinatra and the Rat Pack, and I really liked watching Lawrence Welk. I became a big fan of Steve Lawrence and Edie Gourmet, so a friend and I went to one of their shows, we were probably 18. Definitely the youngest people in the audience, by far.

The Righteous Brothers...

Felt like the oldest guy in the room a bunch of times at metal shows in the 00's. But since, the olds have returned.

Definitely been the oldest a time or two

Ha, wife and I were laughing about this recently. We went and saw Robert Plant in 2018 at 47 and 50. There were couples that brought their kids and the kids were older than us.

In 1977, i mightve been the youngest person at a Styx concert.....in 1997, I mightve been the youngest person at a Styx concert.

Maybe.

I think I was the oldest person at a Kae Tempest show back in 2019, I was 48. I felt like I was the oldest guy there by a long ways. I'm pretty sure I've never been the youngest person at a concert at any time.

I'm pretty sure my wife and I were darn close to the youngest folks there when we saw Bruce Springsteen several years ago. I think we were 50 or nearly so.
I have felt like I'd be super old at shows before, but my "oh wait am I old" years are only just happening now (I'm 56), and it always ends up being a false alarm. To me it feels like GenX live music people mostly keep being live music people, and at least a good chunk of us have stayed curious about new music, and so I am by no means the only dude who finished high school in the 1980s when I go see, say, Wet Leg or Phoebe Bridgers or whatever.

I was standing second row center with my daughter at the Ginger Root concert waiting for the concert to start. It was a standing room only venue in Atlanta. So I turn around to survey the crowd, and then casually say to my daughter "I'm probably the oldest one here" to which she responds "Dad, you are definitely the oldest one here!"
Who cares. Music was great and I am now a big fan of this band.

About 4 years ago, the husband and I, were at a Little Feat concert. We were the youngest. I thought there would be a bigger age range, I was wrong.

I was 14 years old when I saw Black Flag. I don’t think I’ll ever be oldest, too many cool people in this world.

I attended a Mel Torme concert in the late 90s. If I wasn't the youngest person there, I was certainly close. The median attendee was in their 60s, at least. I saw more than a few people with walkers, wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, etc. Mel himself was spry and energetic, and his voice was golden!

I suspect I might have been the youngest at a Don McLean concert in 1994 (I was 13 at the time). From memory, I had to be accompanied by my parents in order to get into that venue, which was a club. That wasn't a problem. My boomer mother had loved Don McLean, and in fact she had got me into his music in the first place, so she was certainly keen to go. It was a great concert, and I'm so glad I got to see it

Me and my friend felt extremely old at the *Nsync concert. But it was during their heyday and it was awesome.

I remember seeing a fave band open for a popular teen MTV band at the time. I felt so out-of-place being surrounded by teenagers. I went to the bar after the opening act and of course, it was dead and the bartender was happy to have my business!
I felt young seeing Roxy Music.

We were definitely the youngest at a Wayne Newton show a couple years ago. We were neighbors for years and tickets were free so why the hell not. It was super fun.

I assume I was one of the younger people at a Marie Osmond concert. My dad liked her so I went along. It was pretty good!
New-Sheepherder2239@reddit
Never but close on both

Probably the oldest on more than one occasion. For example, I was most likely the oldest at more than one Japanese idol concert (Morning Musume, Berryz Kōbō, ℃-ute, etc.), when I was in my forties and fifties, though I did see some other fairly old dudes in the crowd at some of them.
TheJQN@reddit
I. Pretty sure I was close to being the youngest person at the Charlie Daniels, Molly Hatchet, and Marshall Tucker. I was 19 at the time.
ExtraAd7611@reddit
I and my friend were definitely the two oldest people at an Eric Andre show.

I saw The Drums at the Glass House in Pomona, CA years ago. I looked around to see if I could find the creepy old guy. Didn’t find him…
