Where are the AK people?

There are 1000 different AKs and I just want to know what I am looking at exactly. I do know it’s a Saiga Izhmash that was imported and converted. That’s about it.

Running for Congress.

I wish I had his number

I remember when these came into the country. Wanna say 899 but that was when wasr10 and sagia were 400 new. Personally I could not justify spending double on something so pretty.

You just said what it is.
If it's a milled receiver that looks a lot like a no shit AK-47 configuration in 7.62x39.
If it's stamped (doesn't look like it) you have an AKM configuration with very pretty wood.

Its pretty clearly dimpled above the magwell. Theres also no such thing as a milled Saiga as far as I know

Hey OP this is the guy you're looking for
Sorry Games I'm on my phone and the photo is smaller than my self esteem (that's really small)

For sure. I’m honestly just a simple AR nerd but it seems legit from what I gather.
marksman1023@reddit
I would absolutely shoot the piss out of that thing.
Just don't hurt that wood, it's too pretty.

That is the plan. And I’m going to leave it just as it is. (Against everything I am used to doing)

All good man, I lost track of the shit I overlooked on mobile haha

What should be stamped?
jeropian-moth@reddit
It’s stamped. They’re taking about the receiver. Look at the dimple above the magwell and compare it to a milled receiver like a SAM7.
marksman1023@reddit
The receiver, sorry.
Also, I'm double sorry, I'm not actally an AK guy, but they are the preferred weapon of The Enemy (as well as some totally not enemy gun enthusiasts, chill, Reddit) and I learned about it and bought one to learn how to shoot it.

Hell yeah. I snagged a WASR 10/63 two years ago for $500. Century import, older guy bought it way back in 2012, never took it out of the box, stuck it in his closet for 12 years, and then forgot what it was and sold is as a Chinese SKS for cheap. One of best deals I ever got.

I’m in a similar situation. So I’m happy to hear all this good news.
