Hello Everyone!!
I am building my first ever pc and wanted to get some insights from you guys who are more knowledgeable than me.
Currently, I running the ryzen 5 9600x with rx9060xt, and was wondering if I should go with the 9070xt instead. Games that I am planning to play is Valorant, League, and Minecraft and some other stuff too.
My budget is aimed to be below 3k and I live in Australia!!
This the link to my build on pcpartpicker :D

(excuse the ram price, I found it cheaper second-hand)
any help / thoughts is appreciated!

Are you ONLY playing those games? Because it's overkill already to upgrade unless you plan on playing anything new or intensive.
If you're upgrading because you WANT to, then yeah, a 9070XT is fine. I assume AMD is still cheaper. I haven't been paying attention to prices here in Aus for anything higher (I've also already got a 9060 XT 16gb) because i can run anything I want at 1440p already.

Yeah just those games honestly. I am considering 9070xt because I thought the 9060xt wouldn’t run those games optimally but you have proven me wrong!!

I think it’s Aussie dollar, not freedom dollars.

yeah unfortunately everything is really expensive in australia 😭😭

IF the ram you found is cheaper than the one I put there then use that one, but this has a better CPU, GPU, and PSU.

Thank you!! I found a 32gb T-Force for $475 so I already purchased it. Definitely a lucky find.

I would start by ditching the asrock board. They have been frying 9000 series cpus. Check out msi.com they have equivalent boards and you can bundle in the cpu for near 100 bucks. They even have 9800x3d for 400.00usd, if you desired to go that high. I am not familiar with Australia prices, but at 600 for 9060xt seems high, as I just bought an asus dual 9060xt 16gb card for 430usd. If you already have ram at a good price, you can either splurge 400 more on the 9070xt if you need the higher bandwidth, or just chill with the 9060xt. I am running one as a test for building a steam os unit and it runs 1440p on high settings for most games without issue. I'm not a valorant player, so I don't know what the goals are, but if it is online competitive play, then you will usually want to bump down to 1080 and crank up the frame rate. This should handle it well, but not at 4k. I would check some reviewers on YouTube and decide based on what I MUST have. But for me, a 9600 9060 is well balanced, I'm just leary of asrock. Everyone has a b850 board or lower feature x870e board for the same money, msi just has a sweet cpu price. 440 is alot to pay for an aio, have an amazing arctic 420mm aio that keeps even a 9950x3d chilly. No lcd screen, but you do you, if that is your must have, I would look into deep cool, and thermaltake. Mostly because you have not added case fans yet, and I like to match aio fans with other case fans so you can get the 3 supply to balance the 3 exhaust for a neutral case, and add 1 more supply for positive pressure, to keep the dust out. I am running a LianLi 011d led case with 13 140mm fans from arctic. Use of FanControl is a must to tune the cooling to reasonable noise or it sounds like a turbo spooling up.
Best of luck and post some pics when you are done.

Thank you!! I will definitely look out for the ASRock motherboard. some stuff that weren’t included was already bought haha sorry for not including them. Thanks again :D
