Hit state number 48 today after almost 2.5 years OTR. Bottle of fireball for whoever guesses which one.

Hit state number 48 today after almost 2.5 years OTR. Bottle of fireball for whoever guesses which one.
Fox_Tango_@reddit
I’m sitting at 43 currently. Still missing ME, VT, RI, LA & NM in the lower 48. Obvious outliers are AK & HI. Been OTR for 15 months.
BingBongFyourWife@reddit
Good job driver, that’s cool
Just broke 40 the other day lol, 3.5 years for me
Hopfrogg@reddit
Hmmm... I'll go for something random as your wording makes it seem like it would be a surprise.
Delaware?
Cheah978@reddit
I cleared all 48 my rookie year (Told dispatch that’s the only thing I wanted) then I was supposed to join a team that went from Washington to Alaska, but it never came through, still haven’t let that one go
And if I do it in a tanker I’ve basically done everything in trucking there is to do after 15 years
Environmental-Pear40@reddit
Definitely Maine, fuckin nothing up there but we deliver to moose from time to time.
Zodi88@reddit
Fries come out of northern Maine
Tricky_Big_8774@reddit (OP)
I make run to the Walmart DC there fairly often. Very different from most Walmarts. Two hours late? We got a door for you. 24 hours early? We got a door for you.
sundaybann@reddit
First starting out I made that same regular delivery to that Walmart DC from the GP DC down in Alabama. That drive is beautiful but I’d always detour to miss the bs on 95.
Tricky_Big_8774@reddit (OP)
I always go through Albany to avoid the worst of it.
Ok_Bug_6470@reddit
Montana
Jaded_Loverr@reddit
For those with comprehension issues, Alaska and Hawaii are not included in the “48 states” topic
Round_Rooms@reddit
Rhode Island
Conscious-Emu-2912@reddit
I'm missing NH,VT, and Marine out of the lower 48
shadowmib@reddit
Id bet it wasnt hawaii
Sparky3200@reddit
Hawaii.
Grumpy_Trucker_85@reddit
Vermont, because that is my last for the 48 lol
nicerakk@reddit
Came here to say Vermont. It's the last one for me. Been OTR for 10 years
Tricky_Big_8774@reddit (OP)
That's it. We have a weekly load to Maine that I take sometimes, and the water and paper backhauls were finally all booked already.
LongjumpingCat6642@reddit
Washington
BeenThruIt@reddit
This was my last one.
Tricky_Big_8774@reddit (OP)
First time I crossed the Mississippi in a truck was on my way to Seattle.
Interesting-Big-4009@reddit
no cap 🔥
sundaybann@reddit
After 6 years I had all but one myself. Finally got a load to Fargo and ticked North Dakota off my contiguous 48 map. Alaska is next… maybe.
TheJuggernaut043@reddit
Are there OTR routes to Alaska?
homucifer666@reddit
North Dakota, because almost nothing goes through there.
(That was my last state too).
Tricky_Big_8774@reddit (OP)
Number 46 for me. Got to listen to a wheat farmer expound on the flaws of Canadians for 30 min. Apparently it's blatantly obvious Trump was joking about making them the 51st state because nobody would be dumb enough to want them...
homucifer666@reddit
Damn, so close!
Not an endorsement for imperialism, but BC is gorgeous. If there was one part of Canada to haggle for, that'd be it. Plus we'd actually be able to drive to Alaska without crossing international borders.
icy_penguins@reddit
Ill happily keep the 45 states ive managed to hit in my 20 something years cause those last 3 in the northeast just never seemed to be on my map. Now I try not leave iowa.
Congrats on all 48. Not sure when it turned into fireball, cause all I ever got was the state maps from the welcome center.
Zaphod-Beebebrox@reddit
When you get to 49 and 50 we will throw a huge party...
Tricky_Big_8774@reddit (OP)
I was thinking there aren't many semi-trucks in Hawaii, but then I realized there's probably a bunch of chassis haulers.
MissYouDesertRat@reddit
Im gonna go with Mass I could never get there.
Tricky_Big_8774@reddit (OP)
Been to Boston area more times than is healthy for my blood pressure.
BouncingSphinx@reddit
So... once?
Tricky_Big_8774@reddit (OP)
You've got a point.
Nero-Danteson@reddit
Maine
Tricky_Big_8774@reddit (OP)
My company actually has a regular delivery in Maine.
freshasfvckk@reddit
Rhode Island cuz who even goes there
Tricky_Big_8774@reddit (OP)
I've been there twice in the truck. Delivery there then picked up outside Boston, and a pick up after delivering... outside Boston.
