Chinese Police Officers with Type 82 submachineguns, a copy of the PM-63 RAK. It was reverse engineered from an original PM-63 that was captured from a Đặc Công soldier during the Sino-Vietnamese War in 1979 and was studied in 1981 before the production started in 1982.

I fired a PM63 in Las Vegas a few years ago. The place where I shot it was called battlefield Vegas where you could shoot different machine guns. Just before I was handed the gun the range officer warned me not to lean too close to the sights because then I’d figure out why the poles nicknamed it “The Dentist”. It was fun and I didn’t loose any teeth.
