Warned my cousin, but he upgraded as soon as it dropped and has been nothing but issues. Granted most will be just fine, but there is a reason that most people like to wait a few weeks as there are always early bugs found after release since there is no way to test every setup. Plus there is no real benefit early on.
Am I the only one having trouble adding the RPM Fusion repos to 44? When I add them it enables the rawhide branch instead of the 44 one. Even if I explicitly specify 44 instead of letting the command pull it from the OS. Is this a mirror cahcing issue because 44 just came out?
Fedoras website seems to get heavily hammered every time there is an update. I can't even connect. Luckily the above direct-link worked.
Fedora Budgie base. Added RPMFusion (Mesa, don't remember reason) and Terra Rawhide (Mangowm + Noctalia) repos. No issues so far. Mango+Noctalia is what I boot into. I chose Budgie for easy troubleshooting purposes when I was setting up Mangowm etc. It came in handy couple times.
Some mirrors don't seem to be updated yet. Expected.
I want the latest Gnome on my family PC because I want the latest desktop fixes. But not on my personal, where I use niri. Its package maintainer updates it for all supported versions.

I've been having trouble with this too.

Did they fix the crash in the installation during the location selection yet?

Good. Upgraded to 43, now can't boot to GUI. Even live doesn't work. Maybe 44 will?
NicoPela@reddit
Just updated, no hiccups yet.

I've been using it since the late betas. No breaking bugs here. Glad that the release is here.

Same working great
Had some issues 4 or 5 weeks ago from beta, but they were fixed about 2 weeks ago
Upgraded to 44 main and no issues, working great
But for future I play to stay on main, and just wait for the main 45 to release when that does, I think it will be better for me (novice user)

That's what I promise myself each release and fail every time.

Hahah fair, this is my first time back on Fedora in years, so I think I learned my lesson
I think 😄
