I bought rx 9070xt and I am having trouble with choosing between ryzen 5 7600x or 7 7800x3d. Price difference is kind of huge for me and I dont know which one cpu would be best for my gpu.

7600X will be more than enough for gaming with a RX 9070 XT. I had that combo for a while myself until I upgraded my CPU to a 9800x3d. There is two reasons I did this. The 9800x3d had a really good Black Friday deal where I live. And I had planned to upgrade to a 7700X or 9700X anyway because I needed the extra cores. But when the 9800x3d basically was at the same price as a 7700X when I bought it, it was a no brainer for me.
This being said, if you are not going to play CPU heavy games, and do any kind of streaming or recording of gameplay, a 7600X will be more than enough with a RX9070XT.

pure gaming? 7500x3d/7800x3d if you wish.
mixed usage? 7600x/7800x3d

Personally i would bite into the sour apple and get the 7800x3d. The extra cache is quite nice and it made sims 3 in isla paradiso very smooth. (Which is impressive when you know sims 3)

I’ve had 7600x for 18 months. Happy with performance ( dual monitor, gaming in 1440p 160hz and 1080p 30hz for media), only exception is bf6 which is a CPU hog but no these issues disappear with expo.
I plan to wait until the next chipset is released then buy a 7800x3d or whatever is best value of the generation.

the 7600 is enough don't worry. Even a 7500f is a good combo.

7600X is plenty unless your goal is high FPS e-sports or simulation games.

Unless you're gaming on 1080p, the 7600x will not bottleneck the 9070XT
