I live just outside London and I occasionally drive in to london for leisure but my car passes the rules. Are many being affected?

I’ve got an EV and my wife has a compliant diesel so we’re ok but can understand people in outer London who don’t have compliant cars being very annoyed.

We have to replace a car that runs perfectly fine as it’s not compliant and we live in the ulez zone. Probs have to spend £6k+ on a new car

You don’t have to spend £6k on getting compliant car

No you’re definitely right but to replace it with something that is still old and crappy doesn’t seem worth it. And we may well get the 2k grant so might not be too bad

I'm not in the outer zone, I live more central but air quality has significantly improved since Ulez.
