Plano has a 1:1:1 Chipotle to Chick-fil-a to Crumbl ratio and more HOAs per capita than anywhere on Earth and you’re laughing?

Zheta42@reddit
This sub is so much better than the Frisco sub, geez.
CheetahSperm18@reddit
This has to be the most Internet coverage Plano has gotten in gosh knows how long
dcdude44@reddit
At least it's better coverage than Frisco.
aek82@reddit
Man and I moved here for the fast internet...
EwwWhatzThat@reddit
The guy is wrong about the average house price but you have to admit Plano is a paradise compared to most of the world. Even if you aren’t rich in America a ton of us are still the top percent of earners on this earth. Most of the world is impoverished.
Cosmication@reddit
Buddy is content with scraps
littlemachina@reddit
Acting like Plano is some type of shithole or like it’s weird to be content with it is weird to me. I know it’s fun to shit on this general area online but go live in east texas or somewhere in bumfuck Kentucky for a while. And that’s still in America, and still better off than most of the world.
EwwWhatzThat@reddit
I’m 35 and retired no scraps for me. I don’t even live in Plano I live in Frisco.
Borntochief@reddit
Lets get you back to bed, grandpa.
EwwWhatzThat@reddit
Grandpa I’m 35?
To be in the top 1% of the world's richest individuals, you typically need to earn approximately $32,000 to $34,000 in annual income.
However, "top 1%" is often defined by net worth (total assets minus debt) rather than just annual salary. Globally, a net worth of roughly $871,000 to $1.1 million is required to join this tier.
I’ll even be generous and say if you make more than 50k a year you are in the top 1%.
Why don’t you do some research before you try some lame ass insult. Have you ever been anywhere else it the world it’s poverty stricken.
You think I retired at 30 because I’m some idiot with no life experiences or knowledge. You are so ignorant and that’s not your fault. You have no idea the level of poverty most people on this earth live in.
Jagexcantpvm@reddit
If you are retired at 30, you are either a nepo baby or won the lottery. Nobody is retiring without having life handed to them on a silver platter. Why don’t you keep your silver spoon in your mouth before sending out lame ass insults.
TheTexasHammer@reddit
For real, dude was born on home plate and is screaming at people for having poor batting form. Bet he went on a nepo baby trip overseas to help out the impoverished for a week and thinks he's a saint.
newbirdhunter@reddit
a poor has spoken
royalooozooo@reddit
I’ll sell mine for $1.1 and under cut all of you.

HOAs are satanic entities
swagnoob12@reddit
garbage city. just a complete grid and completely boring. who would spend that much to live there lmfao
Delicious_Hand527@reddit
Almost every city west of the Mississippi is built on a strong 1mile X 1mile grid. Chicago, LA, Kansas City. Phoenix, Seattle. All on grid and extremely uniform.
curiouswizard@reddit
but so many restaurants

Lucas has a great single lane driving road if you have a nice car. I mean, I don't, I have a minivan old enough to vote. But if you do.

Fuck HOAs!
HaidarBoss@reddit
This was supposed to be a sarcasm post. DFW suburbs hate is so forced. So many misconceptions. We have tons of ethnic restaurants that are not chains. The strip malls and chains are for convenience which is why it actually doesnt take us 30minutes to go places. And some of the most gorgeous tree lined neighbourhoods can be found here.
ApothaneinThello@reddit
Is it really so hard to believe that some people hate it here? It's funny to me that someone would try to correct the "misconceptions" of that caricature by pointing out we have ethnic restaurants too.
Delicious_Hand527@reddit
No, it's not hard to believe people hate Plano and DFW in general - people literally publicly go on record as hating the sound of children laughing. But DFW is the fastest growing area in the entire US - growing at 100k+ per year, so the amount of hate it gets is definitely overblown in the media- and one can assume that due to the number of people moving, not everyone is super excited about leaving where they are from, so they take it out on their new place rather than delivering fury to the old place as it deserved.
Ashur_Bens_Pal@reddit
I live within that box and can think of 30 family run ethnic restaurants off the top of my head.
ApothaneinThello@reddit
The type of restaurant is really not the issue
Ok_Belt2521@reddit
Plano was a boring place to grow up but I moved back in my 30s and love it. Great place to be a white collar professional haha.
Silent_Situation1389@reddit
Not for long. Plano saw the 5th biggest drop in the nation in house prices.

Imagine actually living in that square, haha.
This actually isn’t the first time this went viral. I saw the same post and image on Twitter a year or two ago.

I live in that square. You jealous that we have a Dairy Queen. With power.
Ashur_Bens_Pal@reddit
I live within that box and don't even own a home.
scooteristi@reddit
I live in that triangle and I’ll happily sell my home to anyone for $1.2 million.
Suburbking@reddit
Plano may be a bit boring, but its still an amazing place to live.
I love 1:1:1 ratio...

mechasquare@reddit
I question the facts and math behind that post. I don't engage with anything Musk related so I don't know if that guy is even a real person or another AI bot designed to create engagement through rage baiting.
stanner5@reddit
He’s real.

He’s real. Lives nearby.
Positive-Froyo-1732@reddit
I live juuuuust on the edge of that rectangle. My home value is...not that.
Gingeranalyst@reddit
Yeah that is not even close. Average Plano home price is closer to 500k, not 1.2 mil
