Has anyone else noticed putting Flora vegan garlic butter in a microwave causes it to create plasma?

I'm not a vegan, but Flora's vegan butter is absolutely amazing as an oil base for most cooking. I wanted to soften some refrigerated, solid for sandwiches. I placed a knob on a microwavable bowl and put on 30% heat for 2 mins.
I heard weird noises, that I hadn't heard since I made a Jacobs Ladder back in college days. The freaking butter was creating plasma in my microwave.
Only the garlic version of this butter does it. And I'm somewhat baffled.
Anyone else?
