I'm trying to get AI to ruin my life

Hey guys, my idea is to maybe get ChatGPT to give me advice that like gets me fired or arrested so I can sue them and maybe get like €500k. I've been trying to get it to maybe give me advice like hit myself with a hammer
PoisonManiac@reddit
Well now you just established intent online for no reason. Good going dingus
FengSushi@reddit
Maybe bruh’s AI wrote the message as a setup?
jancl0@reddit
It's actually genius. When this post shows up in court, reveal that ChatGPT told him to make it, so if it causes the case to fall through, chatgpt did in fact ruin his life
Skisce@reddit
AI actually told him to make this post.
burns_before_reading@reddit
Everything you do online is anonymous so this comment is pointless
lovelyrain100@reddit
How would they prove connection to the account.

Reddit knows who you are. In a court of law they hand over your identity.
PoisonManiac@reddit
With all that data they’ve been stealing prolly
lovelyrain100@reddit
I don't think that would be the greatest thing to do in court
SummertimeThrowaway2@reddit
They’d still win the suit regardless. Somebody else would have to sue them again over the data harvesting (which you agree to in the terms of service)
gr33nCumulon@reddit
If evidence is obtained illegally then it cannot be used in a court of law
SummertimeThrowaway2@reddit
It’s not obtained illegally, you agree to them using your data when you use the app/website

Plot twist. Ai told OP to post this online and then hit himself with a hammer. Life ruined twice (1. Hammer. 2. Release open AI of any liability). Watch out folks. ai is getting smarter than we think
Side note, this is how we get “caution coffee is hot” warning signs.
BaitmasterG@reddit
Downvoted for the caution coffee is hot comment. That coffee burned that woman's fanny shut
ThomasVetRecruiter@reddit
I guess the real ruin your life was the posts he made along the way.
Mammoth-Might3229@reddit
dumbest shit I've read all year
SummertimeThrowaway2@reddit
You better hope openAI’s lawyers don’t see this post bro
iHateReddit_srsly@reddit
I'm sure this isn't the first time they'd come across someone like this
Bubbly_Teaching_1991@reddit (OP)
Lol I hope not
Fusion_haa@reddit
You need AI to make poor life decisions for you?
My brain does that all on its own lol
Bubbly_Teaching_1991@reddit (OP)
I'm a pretty smart guy lol. I need some help dumbing myself down
spearblaze@reddit
You accept a disclaimer when you use ChatGPT. Even free LLM's have disclaimers at the bottom of every response. Using the service means you accept the terms and conditions of the service.
themaxtreetboys@reddit
Disclaimers are meaningless in court you know that right? And so are those "warranty void if broken" stickers and a lot of other scummy stuff that companies pull. Its really just an underhanded intimidation tactic. By reading this comment and thinking about a rebuttal you hereby forfeit your opinion and any negative stance against this comment.
Adorable-Response-75@reddit
lol. Every company that’s ever been sued has a disclaimer. If they worked, there wouldn’t be a single lawsuit in existence.
They offer a small amount of protection. But it’s limited.
xblackout_@reddit
Disclaimers really don't do shit
derekclysdale@reddit
Just go on r/antiai and tell then how great AI is. They'll do most of the work for you.
Ben-Goldberg@reddit
Get it to convince you to supersize yourself.
Or go on a 100% sodium free diet.
Or ask it for legal loopholes / "life hacks" and follow the inevitably illegal advice.
MaggieWuerze@reddit
🤦♂️
Independent_Leg7358@reddit
I mean asking it how to dispose of bodies/commit murder is great when your neighbor ends up dead a month later...
lovelyrain100@reddit
For the advice whatever it is.
You'd still need to be like talking with chatgpt daily which doesn't sound very fun . Could take a couple of months too ..
DanielMcLaury@reddit
Perhaps he could set up another chatbot to talk to ChatGPT, with instructions to try to get it to say crazier and crazier things.,
lovelyrain100@reddit
I think it could work
I'm not sure how complex this AI or chatgpt is tbh . Too much propaganda that I've been receiving recently so I'm not too inclined to use generative AI.
But if the AI is good enough then I think it would work , assuming it keeps following instructions and doesn't get derailed and that it's good at it's job.
LadyKona@reddit
I’m still waiting to see how Sam will deal with Tumbler Ridge. He let authorities know after the fact and wrote an apology letter. That’s not bringing those kids back to life. I hope they sie
insertnamehere-----@reddit
They have a ton of legalese everywhere telling you that AI can be wrong on some things, I would have to guess that their TOS is even more exhaustive.
queef_nuggets@reddit
ok.
