2013 Hyundai Elantra Thumping noise?

My car has been making what I can only describe as a thumping noise when I let off the brake or make a turn. My check engine light is off. It almost sounds like it is coming from somewhere near the front left of the vehicle. I checked for loose lug nuts and to see if anything was stuck under my car, and there wasn't anything. I am also a university student and have no other means of transportation to campus for the next few days. Do you have any ideas on what it might be and how urgently I should get it checked out?

Ball joint, tie rod end, cv axle/joint.....any one of them and if any one of them fails, you will.lose control of the vehicle.

It gets worse when you're turning? Is it accompanied by any noticeable vibration?

Only like really slow turns like pulling into a parking spot, but no vibration.

Okay, so there's a few things it could be, and any of them is going to get worse over time, but you're safe to drive for a little while. Keep an ear on it and bring it in when you get a chance.
