Very strange to see XP on a system with a 5.25" Floppy drive, but then again the system seems to be from the 486? era. How well does Windows XP run on this computer?
And thank you for the fladhback. Still undecided if a good fladhback or not. Because I STILL remember "the startup routine", bloody became muscle memory.
the case has remember the date windows xp came out in 2001. xp was the benchmark for a long time for windows and their new releases, the same as windows 7 is being treated
Those speakers! You should show it shutting down. Kind of on topic, but I put together a Win 98 machine recently. I was amazed at how quickly it booted up and also how it shuts down like immediately. Like hit shut down and boom it's off. This shit today has to do a million things. We're really gone in reverse in so many ways.

No one is talking about the GTA Vice City cheats sticker 😠This brings back memories

I wish they still made those component power switches. I'd get one and mount it under the desk.

I’ve got one… had it for 30 plus years. Still works great, although some of the lights stopped working. Might be time to rebuild it.

Now all that's needed is for the speakers to register that a mobile phone will soon ring 😃

XP on a 133 MHz chip? That's a bit tight, maybe it's just the LED matrix since those sense by themselves. Neat setup!
RFC793@reddit
They sense my themselves? I always had to set a thousand jumpers for my LED clock speed displays.

My bad, that's a typo

Man we’re such nerds.  Was literally the first thing I noticed too.

I had already noticed that the screen was from more like 1998 (and was only 14") and that the case was from like 1995.

Is this a sleeper PC from 2004 or something? Because that was to fast for a PC that looks like it should be running Windows 3.11
Spare-Good-5372@reddit
My god, that was a nostalgia hit
